It's simpler than Hearthstone. Extremely easy to pick up and master.

No entrance cost if you consider one or two top tier decks (as of a current meta) a good entrance. However you'll have to do dailies every day and spend quite a bit of money to build a full collection. We're in our third expansion and it's going to get harder to catch up.

The game is pretty simple, especially if you come from another cardgame. Also the ingame menus are pretty good, whenever you don't understand what a mechanic does you can click on the card and you get a popup with all the information, and if there's something you don't get from that pop up, you can click on it for further explanation.

It's pretty easy to grasp the basics of each class after doing their story mode and playing a couple matches in unraked or against AI which also gives you loads of gold

Entrance cost is none, you can reroll as many times as you want using a emulator or phone. But to have a full collection you are going to have to pay quite a bit given how we are into the 2nd expansion already and there is another coming within a couple months.

Look at how putrid hearthstone became after 2 years, and SV devs are releasing more content and higher-effort content
2) hearthlike with a ladder thst permanently rewards you for climbing, which also contributes to good community norms. All non-new players are at ranks that don't involve winstreaks and require positive winrate to climb, so the baseline level of effort and discussion is high. The devs make a good effort at seeming like they know what they're doing
3/4) learning curve is fine, you can spawn in with a single deck of any archetype (aggro/midrange/control/combo) and not spend much time scraping for cards (until you want to branch out to another deck). Learning the ropes should be simple for a card game vet.

Winning rates are irrelevant. I don't care if Haven had 0% win rate, haven fights were easily the most annoying fights you could ever have in vanilla because nearly every fuck was running the same sun satan deck and had the same curve.

Stall decks or teams are never fun to play against because the enemy's intention is to just grind you down until you lose the ability to fight back or the will to fight back. And if you were too slow and they got to satan then have fucking fun dealing with his Satan deck and them topdecking the stuff they need to win in 1 turn.

I personally hated the meta back in vanilla because your options were Early satan and his wards feat. rowen, Worship the sun satan, Ward maid, Elf from hell and Solitaire rune that removes everything you play and then tosses a shift in your face.

I feel like the meta is a lot better after the two expansions. It still has issues and questionable shit but its definitely a lot more fun and addicting than what it was before.

Quite a bit but you really do not need to have all that many of the legendary and gold cards to make good decks for the majority of the classes. Your silvers and bronzes will be 90%+ complete in like two months of play.

Well since there isn't much minions in the deck I use him to cycle my evo points, while not leaving a piercing rune target. This is very powerful vs D-shift and rune. He clears shadow reapers as well. Also late game if you combine him with one scripture he is a quasi themis, since its usually one big minion and a bunch of small.
