If you consider 2xstamina for 2xdrops as part of the equation, yes its easier. Its still just an RNG gamble, they however can farm the posters faster.

He is a no-questions asked 3x rainbow captain, yes. That is huge. His special also as you said decimates hit shields and if there's no shields still does some damage. His special gives you FULL matching no questions asked. The heal doesn't hurt either.
He only needs 3 skillups. He's the easiest legend in the game to skillup.
He has farmable sockets from a not-that difficult raid and 5 slots.

There is absolutely fucking nothing to dislike about him. He's an absolute fucking beast with no drawbacks.

They're going to release Akainu, one of the most anticipated legends during the anniversary. We've also confirmed the save Ace event during that time period. They WILL give us a good sugo to coincide with all the events. And if they don't? Well, you'll still have a ton of gems to blow because at that point we'll be sure global will absolutely never get a good sugo.

Like you said after, you don't know that.
Also a "good sugo" doesn't actually means much. A gold only sugo can be fucking awful. A good sugo is a sugo where you can get good shit. Getting good shit depends on the box you have.

It doesn't matter if 2nd anni is good, if they boost different unit each day and you are in a situation where you already have 70% of the unit boosted. You'll only get shitty dupe, even if it's a good sugo. On the other hand, you could have a sugo where the boosted unit/color make it that you have a good rate of getting new good stuff.

So, the best solution is to pull when you can get good stuff (I'm not talking about this sugo in particular though), not waiting for some kind of ultra sugofest.

Not in my experience. Removing silvers from the pool is a huge thing. Yes, you can still get evolved silvers but not at any higher rate. It straight up increases your chance to get good shit with no drawbacks.

And global has gotten a 2x legend sugo before as well so that's not out of the question either. If your goal is legends then waiting for it is a good idea.
