The whole " why do the japanese hate grapplers" was entirely based on misinformed people thinking that Alex received a new nerf today.

Because they didn't know that

1) The update on capcom blog was simply correcting the changelog, which was wrong, nothing changed in-game

and

2) The change on power drop being 1f slower on start-up does nothing to the situations when you use it, and also gives alex a new mix-up on a blocked hp chop, meaning it is actually a buff.

Also, Zangief was greatly buffed from shit tier to mid or as some people, mainly japanese, claim, high or top tier.
