PvP Dominion is completely impossible to play, the constant disconnects means nobody can even start a match. PvE seems to work just fine, 2v2 is functional as well.

Rarely is it a good idea to open with heavies
if you're good at reading your opponent you can attack so that your swing connects as they're still winding up, but otherwise you're going to want to open with something else.

light attack into zone attack

using a light attack before your zone attack will reduce the amount of stamina zone attack costs by like 50% and almost double the damage. That's the one bread & butter combo the game doesn't tell you about.

He's good. Learn how to chain into your finishers. You can cancel the overhead one into the side finisher, which is really important because it comes out quickly, covers a lot of ground to punish backdashes and it hits really wide so they can't sidestep it, which they probably will do when seeing your unblockable. Dash attacks are really good but don't over-do them since it can be punished by most characters, try mixing it up by trying to open your enemy with lights or guardbreaks.

You can go into one of your combo finishers after throwing an opponent, if you throw them into a wall and go into your overhead, it's really hard to dodge and hits hard. The rest is just getting used to the basics.

Started with keyboard, felt clunky guarding so I switched to gamepad, but now I have the suspicion keyboard is better.
