10 tickets were nothing to me(currently at 91 after the 10 I spent) and I pulled my second Zidane which is a great help since another DW to go on top of the DW I had already means that I don't need another one given right now I have Lightning.

It's just that right now the only ones who can get the second DW are all stuck at 5* max. The first one is on Chizuru.

So for me that means that now I don't have to pull daily for the banner anymore other than the freebie. Instead I can just put that into the red packets for those gigantuars and tickets for later banners.

I did and nearly cleared all 3 of the Great Nian Beast's missions of each level minus the ELT kill it with an item for the moogle.

Just have a good team(max level DPS/Breaker/Healer/Barfira/thundara+support user) and find 800+ATK Noctis whalefriends and it should be rather easy to clear. At least for me I should be able to bum rush it down for the final mission since I cleared the harder ones of killing it with Esper/LB.

Though it sucks that the basic Nian beast doesn't count for Vortex missions. I guess AG will have to suffice for Vortex missions.

My current team that I used to clear the Great Nian Beast is a Lightning/DW Chizuru/Dark Fina(though Exdeath might be better since his Transcendence has a 30% Beast Killer attached to it)/Refia with 800+ATK Noctis friends with Ifrit. Lightning and Chizuru auto attacked to generate Esper orbs/LB crystals while Refia/Cecil put up buffs/barfira/barthundara and healed and friend Noctis goes first turn Cover while Dark Fina went Physical Fall on the first turn and then went DC Ultima.

Just remember the basic strategy against the Great Nian beast is to debuff it while putting up your buffs and barfira/thundara due to it's Fire and Thunderstorm. Just be wary of Roar which lowers your Fire and Thunder resistance and can paralyze your entire team. Shiva and Siren are big no-no's to bring to the fight alongside Ice Armor/Snowstorm Shield.

So...should I daily pull? Or just keep to the freebie?

That can help for A-teams, but she'll be casting her BSB most of the time anyway. You won't be building your SB gauge that fast. Trust me, Vanille is set.

You only have so much mythril to go around, it's better to throw it at a realm you have poor synergy for or just save it for a fest rather than shoot for an "extra" SB for a character. Cid Missions are something to keep in mind.

FFT is a very front-loaded game in terms of difficulty. The entire opening chapter is probably the most difficult part of the game desu just because of how well the maps are designed against your team, and how restrictive the job/equipment options are for your party early on.

It gets significantly easier in the middle of the game and doesn't really get difficult again until the last 3rd or so of the game, and once you get orlandeu he can literally solo the rest of the game if you use him.

The strength of units that start at 5* is way stronger than units that start at lower *'s. Getting Noctis or Gilgamesh will fill those slots all the way to endgame and beyond. Lightning and Luneth are still viable units as well.

Exdeath is stronk, and GARland will get a 6* upgrade eventually. Not the worst you can do, but right now you may as well use infinite reroll lapis to get someone really OP.

The highest a Villain character goes for is Mateus at base 5*, but he's terrible compared to the other mages.

You might want to reroll for Veritas of the Dark when he comes out since he's the closest to a villain character that is actually useful.

I spent 100 mythril on this banner and didn't get much, but my FFT synergy is very good so I won't pull more. I have 100 mythril but not sure what to look forward to in the future. I kind of wanted to do the next Tyro selection to pick up en-wind for Bartz, but the relics on the banner are bad or I have them, except for Celes BSB.

Ah well, then pray for something like a Chiz/CoD/Bartz off a daily but an innate DW would be the best.

It's not a good idea to pass up on those espers and materias so that you have a hard time clearing event content. You can always save that lapis for later since the lapis you earn from missions is there forever unless you foolishly spend it all.

So he requested the day off on air to farm up the TMR and tried to explain to Jason and Deb the importance of Zidane and then went into talking up Gilgamesh(went as far as trying to explain the star system). This silence of everyone else on the show made me laugh. Considering I play on and off all day at work, it was awesome hearing the game referenced on one of the most popular, if not the most popular morning show in Austin.
