Hard to explain. When reading Nasushit, I get the feeling Nasu thought the story, plot and characters first, then shoved shitton of fanservice and pandering to sell it. That was his thought process for FSN. But those aspects remain unimportant to the ending and conclusion and the core of the story was decided before that. They are like filler on the way. With Extella, I kinda think Nasu wrote a dating sim and then put some plot and superficial world building, but the waifu fanservice ended up being the real 'meat'. Look at FHA, for example, 88% is easily fanservice, but the main story and plot is serious and has nothing to do about fucking the heroine of the route.

I really don't like the true end. After Septem it feels like something Sakurai wrote just so she could wank Nero more, and it's especially bad considering Tamamo and her team won the first poll, and Tamamo beat our Nero in the "who would be a better wife" poll. It feels like they're shoving Nero front and centre because they prefer her despite the fans liking Tamamo more.

Hopefully the sequel either focuses more on Tamamo or gives you an option to choose, having a set backstory for Extella worked against it for people who preferred Archer or Caster to Saber in the first Extra.

So the only Fuyuki was that happened in the GO timeline was set in the early 00's. Marisbilly participated and was the victor, but he led the world at large to believe that Saber had won. For that deception to be effective, other surviving participants would need to not speak out against Marisbilly, either from being dead or from just not wanting to say anything. It's possible that it was word against word, where people tried to tell truth but weren't listened to, but that would be sloppy of Marisbilly who did at least put some effort into covering the tracks left by Romans and himself.

It's also reasonable to assume that Rin participated in the war even in the GO timeline. The war took place in Fuyuki which we know as Tohsaka lands. She would be old enough. And Ishtar specifically chose Rin as a host because out of all the people closely associated with a Grail it was Rin who had a personality most similar to that of Ishtar.

So Rin was most likely a master in the war and she was defeated. Meaning she most likely fought against Marisbilly and Solomon. In which case it's not unlikely that she was killed by them. So in the GO timeline, it's possible that Rin was murdered by Olga's dad or by Roman.
