Found a 23.9% phys att, 5% vs open foes and -65 durability in the first ihyl root chalice dungeon I made. Is it shit? Are there more better ones? is 27.2% the only one worth? I figured what I found is a pretty good deal considering it dropped from beast possessed soul.

It's not bad, but Watcher gems just outclass it. 27.2% gems are the standard, but if you want a change in farming, you can get 24.8% +15 (Phys) Tempering Abyssals for a BLB (Head).
BPS have the same drop pool as Watchers, albeit with weaker primaries for the cost of secondaries.

One of my favourite weapons. I love the moveset on both forms. Both are fantastic weapons in PVP and PVE. Cleaver's a bit more useful for the serrated bonus, but that only applies to its untricked form after all.

That's the least edgy of all. Bloodborne has edge, but it's not out of place. That's why it works.

it's one of those very deliberate R2-centric heavy counterattack and baiting weapons. The only remotely-fast attack is the step/roll R1. If you are 25/50 and using nourishing gems on it, it will only be pretty good untricked, but will be great tricked. If you are 50/25 and using blunt gems on it, however, it will be great untricked but only pretty good tricked. The R1 chain can keep most enemies stunlocked, but the side/back-dash R1 attacks are all really slow and the transition attack from tricked to untricked isn't an attack

It's unique in that it is can actually make good use of poisoning secondary effects or even murky/dirty gems if you want to try and rely mostly on poison

It has a handful of useful features, especially against larger or slower bosses, but is something you would need to practice if you wanted to use it for PvP. Thinking about what they did was probably what caused them to stop existing, I think. My guess is that as some of the first descendants of the first hunters from the workshop days, they did take great delight in their own strength while hunting down beasts, but were probably under the impression that a beast is a beast and nothing else. The Powderkegs we meet are actually guarding a bunch of beasts, and when you think about the sort of exuberance that their weapons suggest, the only explanation you can have for the change is a sense of overwhelming guilt.

The revelation that Djura relays as the reason for staying at his post in Old Yharnam is that beasts are human. Was he not aware of where beasts came from before, when he was a hunter? Did he think that beasts were people who took "bad" blood and thus deserved death? Or did he think that beasts came from some kind of nether realm? Whichever way, it seems like he came to clarity about how the good blood of the Church can turn you just as readily as anything else; perhaps when Old Yharnam was burned, and the evidence all around him? How then would you feel if you realized that the beasts you had laughed at and taken joy in the slaughter of were humans underneath? Ordinary, unfortunate people? Might drive you to abandon everything and everyone to try and make things right again. No need to worry about everyone else, with the Church taking formal and direct control over the hunting business.

I don't think the Powder Kegs knew of the nightmare/travelled to it as a group.

Djura surely knew because he was a hubter of the dream at some point, but he was a one-off case in the powder kegs. He probably was the only one in the organization who knew about the nightmare and left them sometime after.

50/10, Skilltinge is only good at 50/50. Church Pick will need an extra 25 Str if you wanna get more out of it too since it's no a Pure Skill weapon. Arrows are still decent at 10 Blt, only needs 9 but you might as well put an extra for Reiter which also does good at base Blt.

Unzip more, untrick when you're not attacking to use guns and unzip when you are. Bloodletter is quicker than Kirk, has a better dash-r1 and doesn't do Blunt damage which most enemies are resistant to. Plus you're not slamming down most of the time, if anything it's more similar to the Axe.

Similar to the Axe, but the moveset is different enough to still be enjoyable (especially the L2) and it does pure Blood damage, almost nothing is particularly resistant to it. Both Blt weapons also have pretty high AR, usually around 700-800+ with top tier gems. Doesn't even have to be OoS to get those numbers.

Finally beat the game, been sitting on it since it came out, binged on it for a couple of days.

Fun game but got pretty grating near the end, especially with the mobs and a lot of the bosses, Gerhman suffered from the same issues every humanoid boss does, just more obnoxious than memorable really.

And yes I got the cords and fought the moon presence, maybe I'll do the DLC at some point but I'm pretty sick of the game right now.

For the record, I stick around if it's depth four or five or an FRC, because those are actually difficult and are just fun beyond that. But when I get put into someone's depth two Hintertomb, at the level I'm at? They don't need help, they're a high enough level to put on their big boy pants and not waste my time.

For Arc anything that isn't a Parasite with a Milkweed Rune is a subpar pick for damage, and even among elemental weapons it's not top of the line on scaling. But it's not particularly bad on that scale either, and as always the serrated/thrust/righteous bonuses make it great for PvE.

I have two males/two females so far.
Making multiple female characters is problematic, because I have only one female name I use.
So in games that require unique character names, it's just not possible to make multiples. And in Bloodborne creating too many characters with the same name would be confusing.

Pick open foes for PVE purposes.
You will be getting the open foes bonus if you are just hitting bosses and enemies when you are *supposed* to hit them. It turns any heavy hitting weapon into an absolute monster against bosses and big enemies with slow attack cooldowns. I have seen it turn a jump attack with the tricked HMLS against Merciless Watchers make the damage go up from 1200 to about 1900 because of gargoyle gems with open foes.

Its harder to get open foes bonuses in PVP because it only really applies during an enemy's attack's parryable-frames and for the short animation cooldown after their hit (hitting someone after a dodge is just regular universal counter-damage and doesn't count for open foes)

also open foes is much more rare

You already have the minimum requirements for HMLS. Just gem it up with top-tier nourishings and hit enemies with the beam + the blade at the same time for maximum damage. Lots of jumping and running R2s, charge attacks, and quick L2s. You don't need more than 100 stamina.

The tricked charged R2 + R2 followup is ridiculously powerful against bosses in coop, when the other player has them distracted.

Even the untricked charged R2 + R2 followup is tremendously powerful, and the second hit will send most enemies flying. Also the untricked R2 stab stun locks merciless watchers and is just as fast as the R1 with hardly more stamina consumption.

is rapid poison only worth it if you can get the best gems possible for it while staying at like BL50 and putting them on the wheel? Rapid poison only does 250 damage + 3% of their health. That's fucking nothing.

Slow poison seems like it might be more worth it because of the lasting effect, and because it puts pressure on people in PVP to take antidotes

I ask because I just got a gem from Isz watchers that inflicts 16.8 slow poison per hit
