"Elite" is what everyone calls the subscription service in this game. Yeah, you can buy it in the broker for like 70k, but it takes a while to get that much gold especially if you're new and aren't elite in the first place. OR, you can spend 20 dollars and have elite for a month.

Costumes can be bought in the store for real money and then resold on the in game broker for gold. The rate right now is 1:40, meaning if I spend 40 dollars on this game, I can get about 160,000 gold back from it, maybe more if I really jew some people. Amassing that much gold on a single character takes a very long time. You'd need several alts to do it efficiently, and you'd have to play the game a lot to get it done. OR you could drop 40 dollars and have gold for any random thing you want to do.

Is it necessary? No. Does it save you time? Hell, yes. But there's no point in this game where you'd need money to progress. You can always just grind some more and let RNG have its way with you.

No problem! Berserker is a class with a very simple rotation on the surface, so it's good if you're new to MMOs. But it takes a lot of gearing to be a great zerk. Archer and ninja can be strong with very little effort though, so that is another thing to consider.

It's funny because the Kumas meta on EU is fucked as well. It's significantly more common to have babies defend on EU than NA, resulting in boring, dragged out games. It's no fun either to approach their mama with 4 dps and having to deal with 3 fucks defending.

sorc old Mana infusion was actually good. You could use it when boss did something and you could not attack, like DF poison floor phase. Then you had full mana next 20 sec. Ofc they removed that and instead sorc got very slow skill that's actually equal to 2 mana pots which are instant to use and with 10 sec cd.

Can someone teach me how to kill iod bams as a sorcerer? My spells take too long to cast and the bams are constantly turning around, I can back step through an attack and set up a fireblast but by the time I launch it they've already turned around again. Lightning trap is nice but it often gets resisted, even when I use it from behind. Time gyre and mindblast don't seem very useful.

you probably just need to work on your timing, it sounds like you have the right ideas of what to cast (though really you shouldn't have so many cast speed issues, make sure you're not missing anything) you just need to time your dodges well as the BAM is first starting its attack so you can not only iframe it but also have the full animation time of the boss to cast

this may be a stupid question, but are you a returning sorc? if you are, have you checked your passives to make sure you have burst of celerity?
