I was silver for a while, got up to like 2700 but I'm stuck there because block string crossups. Just get bodied by people who might as well be running a script because I'm awful at AAing crossups/close jumpins.

And yeah I need to work on that confirm as well. I mostly do my blockstrings into st.mk to keep niggaz out rather than into orochi. I think the cr.mp > cr.mk xx dash (tenko/orochi depending) is better but something like cr.mp > st.mp > st.mk is pretty safe and easy as hell to either confirm into tenko or end with a st.mk if they block.

What I really need to do (and I'm guessing you too) is learn to do cr.lp > cr.lp xx tenko confirms. It's such a useful confirm and into good damage and stage position.

I like the CrMK orochi loop, some good pressure especially in corners. I stopped doing CrMP StMP because it makes the ex tenko link harder imo. In the end it all depends on what you want to do, StMK is a good way to reset the positions.

I have the timing down for those but only when I know the jab is gonna hit, say if I'm punishing something I know is unsafe to jabs. On actual confirms though it's harder.

Ogre, True Ogre, Devil/angel etc. they do have projectiles of some kind but like it's 1 or 2 moves and that's it. So it's still is balanced against characters with none of that.

I know tier lists always, and will always come out, but for the most part I think Tekken is pretty good at being balanced. I mean there are the few stinker characters that really just blow completely, but if you actually spend time gittin gud you can do well with anyone on the roster.
