Deep silveriä ei kamalasti taida Vita julkaisut kinostaa, odotan samanlaista kohtelua DT2-2n kanssa. Noh, olen silti tyytyväinen että Utat tulee länteen, en kyllä ikinä odottanut että sellainenkin päivä koittaa. Hopefully this doesn't bury the franchise. I can see that people are disappointed about it not being what valkyria games usually are, but at the same time I think it's fine to make offshoots of these franchises.I mean, the name itself should be enough to tell that it's an offshoot. I guess Valkyria fans are quite passionate about this stuff. Or maybe it could have helped if they had a Chronicle game out in a last few years, maybe then people would have been more willing to give a chance for offshoot game. Though if the game is bad then the sales are just as expected.

They've said multiple times in multiple interviews that the main series will continue. The problem is like Metroid Prime Federation Force. It's been so long since a main entry that seeing anything but does more harm than good to the fanbase. The shit demos they put out doesn't help either. Personally though, I think the overall hate for the game is unwarranted since the devs said that this is completely different from Chronicles outside of lore.

I'm not surprised about the fast localization announcement, from what I've read Atlus USA is handling all Segas Japanese games localization now. And a new game from IP like Valkyria probably sells well enough to pay for the localization. Granted the game isn't Neptunia PS3 levels of bad. What? It will have brand new maps and some system changes as well. For example no more class doors. Though that is more dungeon design. But I think there's also some system changes as this actually a native Vita game instead of a PSP port. Improved graphics in dungeons and things like that. Also some changes to the battle system are more than likely, hopefully improved blacksmithing as well since that system was awful.

I like these characters and so does many other people, I think it's an interesting thing to see how the story goes if you don't actually get the good ending in the previous game.

Initial load times to missions are like 30 seconds bad, then about another 8 seconds to set up the level after the insertion video, but from there you don't have to worry about loading when in mission.
Game doesn't look great but is okay, framerate isn't great either but it's a turn based game.
It goes on sale frequently so don't pick it up unless if it's currently on sale. If you think the performance might bug you then look up a gameplay video. It's only compatible on Vita so no Vita TV either.
