Back after almost a year, having issues with crashing/freezing.

After some random amount of time, in the middle of a mission, the game graphics will freeze, sound will studder, and then go back to normal. However, the video is stuck forever on that frozen screen until i ctrl+alt+del and force close.

Any ideas how I can prevent it? Is installing by steam a better idea?

I just build the with mutage samples. Same with fieldron and the rest. After finding out that there are a bunch of missions that I enjoy in Eris, I found enought ms to build the masses. Paris is mainly pucture.
Dread is mainly slash.

Not only shit that pucture and slash are good against dont scale the same (armor scaling is fucking bullshit in the game yet a lvl 12 ancient will take as much damage as a lvl 120 one), dread has a higher crit chance wich means more frequent red crits, and slash procs being better at fighting armor scaling than pucture damage dealing with that, thus making the Dread more realible in the end because DE cant design enemies nor content for fucking shit.

So not only inside the game Dread can get more shit done against armor (let alone shit like infested, since you can easily do 55k+ on headshot without redcrits againt ancients using dread), even if the world would be different and armor and flesh scaling would be the same, the dread still would be bether that paris in especialization and also overall use since Dread has more slash than paris has in pucture, and crit chance to top it off.

Slash proc>pucture proc. Specially against armor, something that the fucking paris should be good against. Pucture proc are so shit, they dont even scale with damage. Also, corrosive proyection exist. Bows, even good ones, are shit weapons in comparison to the other ones, anyway, even when they are pretty much my favorites, so Paris is a crappy weapons in the settings of warframe and this this cheap scaling because those frequent slash procs really make a difference against high level units.

I was in akkad mission just trying to lvl my recently forma'd crappy sniper while using speed nova and there was a volt using the lecta there and boy was that fun. Not only going fast dodging shit with my warframe trying to not lose my health and "die" (I was using QT anyway but it was fun), using the sniper to try and pick the ancient healers off and the toxic/venomus cunts while the rest were farming credits was on of the best experciences I had playing this game. It actually made me play Akkad for fun, wich feel amazing just typing it out.

I really wish DE would allocate more of their time and money to making great cinematic quests like TSD and TWW. I really enjoyed the narrative and cutscenes, plus the unique levels and mechanics.
