I was doing the buff exploit found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-07BeJ8qpQ and it looks like it only applies to damage increases + 2/3x exp and one buff at a time. Even though I had 4 expired buffs flashing my 2x exp got bumped off and I've had more luck doing one buff at a time for the glitch. The elite mob "WARNING" message seems to break the glitch too for whatever reason.

tl;dr good for squeezing out more exp, but this event gives out a fuck ton of 2x exp and drop coupons anyways.

Just started playing with the REBOOT update. Decided to play a Night Lord and I'm currently level 180 and have moved to Twilight Perion.

My damage feels a little shitty. Says 100k in the stat window, is this bad?
How do I improve this? I've been using spell traces on my equipment (Raven Horn set) and they're all at about 8 stars atm.

If you have no intentions on getting a tyrant belt any time soon, go for it. The belt can be replaced with a second necklace whenever you get around to it.

Bosses drop cubes, although I would shoot to make it to 200 and save up enough for cra and gollux stuff. If you haven't already unlocked gollux, do so and start farming coins for the superior earring and 3 of the Rings from superior down. Using the mesos you save while farming and selling stuff, buy cra and wait for the next spell trace event. During that you can do the lowest % chance scroll that give the biggest benefit and it shouldn't take too many spell traces. Getting endgame pieces that don't require much damage to get, like gollux gear, will give you something worthwhile to cube with the cubes you'll sometimes get from daily bosses. In your case, I would cube secondary, then emblem, then weapon (unless you get cra weapons then it becomes top priority), then everything else.

Both MCC and meister cubes also drop from legendary/mysterious herb veins. Legendary has the higher drop rate, once got both types of cube at once from a single vein, was pretty nice. If you're willing to dump a few autism hours into finding empty areas and channel surfing, it's a decent way to finding cubes on regular servers. Shanghai, Commerci, and the Tynerum labyrinth are all nice spots to find the big veins.

It offers a non-potential way of getting decent skills and a skill for those classes that can't dodge lucid well an option to do so. Does it bring classes closer to one another? All other servers are slowly dying out so if youre ok with little interaction and a small market (Making shit slightly more expensive in a RMT sort of way), check out any other server. /vg/ Maplestory kept me company from stage 2 to stage 3, and I have a feeling even that won't hold my interest for much longer. Everybody my age is either working and getting married or are finishing up their degrees after fucking around for a couple of years after HS, and I'm worrying about losing interest in my only hobbies, anime and video games. I'm going to be attempting to make my sweetwater weapon 15 stars and my current one is at 13 thanks to the event last weekend. my 2h sword was originally 4atk points above average from the drop and my spare sweetwater swords are average. If I end up booming my item, would I lose those 4 points when I transfer the equipment trace over to the clean one? I never really saw an answer to this.

Best case scenario is my sword doesn't boom at all, but it's good to have spares just in case.
