She can be an alchemist type, with 3 concoction abilities that combo for different effects. Lore and mystery to pull from, easily. She can even "We sense a soul in search of answers" at the start of a match.

Science Vessel / Devourer
Irradiate/Plague and the other effects could swing teamfights. If Devourer, consume can yield Mana to stay in lane.

Blackthorne
If they pull as far back as SNES, why not Blackthorne? They have all sorts of ways they could build his kit, just from the items usable in the game.

I'd like to see karax in the game, but I'm still waiting for kel'thuzad, I'd like to see cairne/baine too, these are the only three characters I'd like atm.

I don't even know about this game anymore. I've played games like League for six years, DotA 2 on and off for two, other competitive games for similar times with wider gaps in between.

And in those times, not once have I raised my voice and hit the point where I was so salty that I raised my voice at any of my friends.

This is singlehandedly the one game that has managed to make me so furious so consistently that it holds the title as the one game that is my stonewall attitude's kryptonite.

Half of the warriors are functionally worthless, others are technical clones of another and find themselves to be hands down better. Depending on the Warrior, assassins are a pointless class to have beyond the burst casters in the roster. Supports usually contain the ability to solo kill you with zero risk on their part, and the only one that got nerfed in this was Rehgar.
To go along with this, Specialists end up being overglorified assassins or overglorified supports. Hell, the single biggest slap in the face is fucking Abathur.

Unlike Murky, who's kitted nearly suicide into bases and gradually melt down forts with no repercussion, Abathur is just some squishy fuck that AFK's behind fort walls and brings nothing to your field. They don't act as a body to shove aggro off, they don't act as a hero that can handle any objective, they can't side tank mercs. All they've ever done is provide a small sect of buffoons a character to use whenever they're too lazy to move around and actually help with the game. More often than not, I get stuck in a duo lane situation with an Abathur, and, surprisingly, a single person with a floating little shitstain doing mediocre damage for fifteen levels can't amount to two unless you're prot Varian and your team manages to pull ahead somehow.

I see his teleport being more viable in this game than in Overwatch.
It's a good escape from anyone without hard cc, good for chasing on larger maps, though can get you pretty deep.
I wouldn't see too much of a problem for removing the vision clause in HotS, otherwise you wouldn't be able to teleport over walls or into bushes most of the time.

And as Li-ming shows with her teleport build, "snowball" heals are excellent for turning around a fight with just a single kill, and if you get it to proc of nearby minion deaths then he'd have good lane sustain too.

There's only so many ways you can rehash "deal damage in a line/circle"
Valla's and Reaper's abilities are meant for much different purposes, and I can see it translating well into HotS.
It's not very ideal for Valla to walk into the middle of the enemy team, but for a slightly tanky hero that does heavy damage to anyone close to him it's a decent strategy.
If a squishy character attempts to do this, the entire team closes in on them and destroys them, if that is attempted against someone who can take a few good hits then it's more likely to punish the enemy team.
Death Blossom can be a great ult for splitting up the enemy team or even the threat of it to make them save their cc to dump into your face, much like Mosh Pit.

The word mage doesn't have any mechanical significance in most editions of DnD. The primary arcane caster classes, sorcerer and wizard, could both be referred to as mages.

Most fantasy setting have it so that a Wizard is someone who learned magic and depends on preparation, incantation and other doodads to do their shit while Sorcerers are ones naturally gifted in magic.
Mage is basically another word for magician, which by most setting have the same principals as a Wizard.
And then there's those who get their power through bargains, contract or generally evil things, Warlocks and Liches.

Many wow classes/specs are pretty well represented currently, it's mostly just fun (for me anyway) to speculate on what an arcane mage rep might look like. The only spec that seems really underrepresented are feral druids, perhaps a retribution paladin but ret is a memespec anyway.

I fucking do. Valeera is great, however there's room for a total Subtlety Rogue with Shadow Dance, Backstab, Shadowstep, Nightblade, Shadowstrike, etc. There's absolutely enough to make a Holy Priest, and a Shadow Priest as two separate characters, despite Varian being such a great rep of all three Warrior specs, there's still enough spells there to make another secondary Warrior as well. If I had to choose, I'd say they should make another Warrior out of the Fury spec, because I feel like Fury kind of got the short end of the stick with Varian, it got no signature Fury ability on his R. Not only that though, Varian's Q doesn't even exist in WoW.

So I say that to say, especially because the universe is so big and there are SO many characters, it's absolutely feasible and therefor it's hard to not want it.

Fair enough. Porting kits is a pretty good way of ensuring there isn't too much overlap.
