You guys realize that 1.11 is never going to happen, right?

You used to check if an item slot was empty by checking for null, but now every single instance of that in your code has to be changed to use Mojang's stupid new "OMGZ MILLENNIALS DON'T USE NULL" policy. You're looking at thousands of changes, and thousands of potentially overlooked bugs because it doesn't throw an error.

Mojang destroyed all future modding. Nobody is going to waste their time doing this.

I think they started it back in 1.10 or earlier, but only enforced it for 1.11 and later. I'm not sure why it was necessary though.
Basically you have to register the block and it's item separately now.

How come I am actually having fun with this little command block mod when it isn't even a real mod? Have I desperately wanted automobiles this match in the game that it is cool to get some that look like they fit into the main game while at the same time still resembling a car unlike some of the other real mods?

I never liked Flan's because his models always looked completely flat and uninspired. Other mods just modify a minecart with slight alterations to the textures.

BC tanks only stack vertically and fit 16 buckets so they only look decent in a few setups, Mek tanks seem to kill my FPS and they have a surprisingly low capacity, TE tanks are just like BC tanks but they can be upgraded a bit, and Railcraft tanks are just like Mek's ones, but they have a better capacity if you use steel to make them. There's also those tanks from Immersive Engineering which look great but only fit 512 buckets in a 3x3x5 space.

New items can be added to the game through resource packs and NBT data. What I mean by this is that if you wanted a Long Sword, for example, if you had the ItemBound pack then you could rename it "Long Sword" and the texture will change.

The downside is that I have no idea how the fuck one could ever implement command block models even though most of these are multiplayer compatible. The upside is that you do not have to worry about your players downloading a mod pack.

What mods should I consider adding if I want this pack to last me a long time?

I usually quit a pack after a month because I quickly reach end-game but I would like it to last 6 months or longer. I don't want mods that will completely trivialize certain aspects of the game like BR.

We know what and where the issue is (OG code bumping up chunk updates trying to retrogen if you're underground or something), but lack the knowledge to attempt a fix.
Might not be as big of an issue as it was initially made out to be. Seems to be fine so far, but we'll get a more definite answer once serb goes live and there's people doing things.
