Bats lose to Dragon in general, dude. Their evos and staple spells board wipe tiny fucks with the greatest of ease, and their new ramp spell even has built in healing. Not to mention how early they can throw a Lucifer at you to invalidate every single one of your turns before they even start.
Aggro being popular is pretty much the only reason Dragon even appears on the ladder and is capable of climbing.

I myself turned to this game after getting tired of Hearthstone. It is a fun game, don't get me wrong, but the RNG mechanics are too much. But the general is full of angry players full of salt screaming for nerfs every other post. Even though it never was as bad as people said it was. Right now I have the feeling that many other people transferred to Shadowverse as well but they brought all the salt with them.
So let us focus on the fun aspects of the game instead of the salt and pointing the OP finger on everything. Simply do some techs in your deck or use something completely different. I play my version of the PtP forest and it's fun and I even win.

Erasmus has saved me quite a bit honestly, I really think it might be a 2-of type of card. Early game I use it to remove things like Ancient Elf, sometimes a GoblinMount or just as a turn 3 removal when I don't have anything to drop.
Late game he's okay against decks that ran out of steam and don't have big followers, since you can just play him for 9pp, get a body and remove something with 5hp.
I will give Anne and Gobbu a go, thanks for the advice!

It limits the design space of the class and it's so strong that it will always be the best forest deck regardless of what the print. Take notice of what they had to do to push a new archetype onto rune since DShift is also incredibly strong and will always be good like OTKO roach.
Roach would still be viable at 3 mana, it just lowers the consistency because you'll need more chip damage or more cost reduction which takes a longer time to build up.

I'd rather deal with DE Elana Haven any day. Shadow is the epitome of not fun. And to make matters worse, all the new good cards they got don't really interact with Shadows (meanwhile Control Blood) so they are able to spam grossly undercosted removal like Foul Tempest while still being able to play aggro or control.
No matter what Shadow deck is ran, it's the same shit. Half the deck is cheap removal and they abuse broken cards like Lurching Corpse, which comes down way too early in a match to be as strong as it is. Death's Breath and Foul Tempest are ridiculously strong cards and having a shadow cost is meaningless these days.
It also just reminds me of many of the cards I've always hated and know will never be adjusted, like Urd. Why can Urd target enemies? If it can, why can it target allies? Why is she a 3/3 for 4? Why is Siegfried a 3/3 for 4? Why do people always wait until a deck is too strong to use their brain and analyze cards? Why did it take until Daria for people to point out that Levi is a 4/4 evolve for 2 that gets an evolve effect that's as strong as Dragon Warrior's but with added spellboost potential?
This is why I play Dshift. Decks like Shadow mean we can never actually have fun with followers. Followers have to just be a means to going face (storm, tokens) or just an immediate fanfare effect. Control Shadow is the same as a Hearthstone deck. You don't even want to draw your cards because you want Nep to do it. It relies heavily on RNG cards that are overstated and undercosted and in return have RNG effects that are way too controllable to be a downside.

In any case you are asking a nonsensical question. If they are pure Elana they won't play that many wards, if any wards at all and so they only have their healing to rely on to survive, which means if you manage to go fast enough you can beat them. If they seraph/elana (which I barely ever see anymore), guess what pure seraph can play all of that shit too. Again, why single out Elana?

I guess that's true. I guess my problem is that Elana has more versatility than just Seraph. If they don't draw Seraph somehow, they can still just hit you with buffed guys after healing away all your damage and killing your guys. As other people have said, I think seraph is much more powerful than Elana, the question is just how you're going to spend your time up until you drop seraph and combo out.
