which ranged dps spec do i go for my alt friends

Now I'm having troubles deciding which one I want to make. All three have their pros and cons.

Priest looks the coolest looking by far and the lore behind the light is extremely fascinating but the spells aren't as cool looking as the other two.
Monk is the most fun in terms of spells and mobility but is the most stale in terms of some of its end-game gear and I am not nearly as interested in the history of the pandas.
Druid is basically right in the middle the two in terms of cool looking spells and lore-wise.

Any opinions or experiences I should know about to help me with my decision? Please and thank you

Just started playing WC3 out of nostalgia and now started to play WoW to see how everything has progressed.

I just want some class advice if you would be so kind.

I'm looking for a strong solo class so I can experience the story on my own.

I made myself a druid and got him to 56 now, then I made a death knight who is now 62.

I read everywhere blood dk is the king of solo. And it sure as fuck seems a lot stronger to me.

I like it more storywise as well but I have to say the travel forms of the druid and stealth are pretty awesome.

I'd recommend just sticking with the druid, whichever specialization you like. Most of the stuff outside end-game becomes soloable after a certain point (you'll ever get a massive increase to damage in old content).

You probably aren't going to be gated from doing something just because you aren't playing the top tier "solo class", just stay away from, like, mage.

Blood DK, Vengeance DH, Guardian Druid, etc. All very solid in terms of sustain and self-reliance. Just pick whatever. Warlock and Hunter are both up there but you mentioned not liking pets.

Why don't you level your druid through all the old content so you get to see WoD/MoP/Cata/WotLK stuff, then boost a DK to 100 when you/if you decide to get Legion? You'll still get to see the story lines and everything but then you'll have two very viable, very decent characters to decide on. You can even start the class hall stuff and see if you like it

i skipped the worst expansions (cata, mop, wod) and now i am playing legion. ilvl is 840, dont know how to gear up further.

i can try gear up with world quests (upgrades for me are rare now), but it will take me weeks and ill end up in shit ilvl anyway. i can do pvp gear, but what is the point in it if they removed resilience from the game? (WTF???)

im done with heroic dungeons. timewalking loot ilvl is also lower than what i have. so its pointless.

Druids by far. Easiest tank to get mythic+ and raid groups with since they have the reputation of being unkillable (they are).

Also plain fun to play. Warrior is just meh after the last round of nerfs, paladins CAN be powerful but they are definitely not easy to play.
