SO2 is insanely popular in Japan. In the west, however, SO3 reigns supreme because it's babbys first, also the amount of rule34 associated with it.
I think what makes SO2 so great compared to the other ones, and why it deserves so, is because of the amount of effort put into the little things, like the insane amount of character endings. It also melds sci-fi and fantasy pretty well, being more about fantasy and less about sci-fi. Everything feels grounded in reality whilst the other SO games after 2 feels like some some teen anime. SO4 feels something like the PS2 era Square would make.

Claude Kenni: Pretty much your hotheaded and rebellious westerner with a lot of responsibility riding on his shoulders.

So I got RO mobile to run for awhile on Nox, but now it's just locking up on launch

I can't read fuckinganything because it's all in chinese, but I was able to figure out the basic gameplay.
Some quests were impossible//confusing without being able to read the text.

I don't know if trying to break the language and tech barriers is going to be worth it.

I have absolutely no idea on how to beat the lockup situation.

More like Broman. He looked like the most plain dude ever in a game and party featuring mostly aliens and freaks, but the concept of a chill pharmacist punching things and utilizing various pills for combat was pretty novel back then and he ended up having pretty brutal DPS. Just a shame he didn't fight in his labcoat.
I also remember liking Opera and Chisato, both SO1&2 were pretty good when it came to mature/adult characters actually behaving like adults.

SO2 Second Evolution looks quite a bit more anime than the original, but it's so much more polished in every aspect that I wouldn't look back. It's a shame the games never released on PSN, I would've definitely grabbed SO2 at least. Console/PC stuff (ideally) gives a more complete experience, with a set start and end.

Mobage give an ongoing, open-ended experience; with frequent events and updates to keep things new.

Also, gambling and collecting is addictive.

Well done gacha games can actually be somewhat neat, since you end up having to make the best out of whatever the game gives you, and you end up making parties that you never would have tried out if you were allowed to just pick anyone.

Of course, this requires the game to be balanced well enough that lower rarities aren't just trash.

Use a cross saber's assault. Play someone that doesn't rely on defensive buffs as hard as the two Miko, neither shit out lightning damage anyway. Equip a freeze cancelling accessory, pretty sure an event in the past few months gave one. Or bring a mage that clears status ailments.

This is a time for the Hell 400 stage I got earlier when there was an HP girl's link for the 1st year middle schoolers. I had some good cards for them, so I had to take advantage. The only thing I like about Senbatsu is the challenge of coming up with a plan using what cards and weapons you have. What I don't like is needing to retry and retry to actually execute the plan well.

I'm going to need to keep my eyes peeled for videos of people doing it faster.

However, I gave up after an hour and swapped to a much easier Christmas Sadone strategy which took like 5 tries to actually complete the stage comparatively.

I took another anon's advice and tried to take them on one by one with stun subs. Until I messed up and killed an extra gold slime, so I had to go into full dodgespam mode.

I was using her yesterday for 400 and she'd usually just pile-drive into one boss and not hit anyone else. Because of that and constantly switching back to rod to use Xmas Party Haruka and trying to use gun on the last dragon made me take forever. Pretty good for other stages, except when she's circling new spawns. Yukata Sadone should still be okay to use too. But I don't think HP skills will be helpful for the gel-only hell map, aside from Xmas Party Shiho having that tic of deadly poison.

I want to use today's SP girl link on the SP reduced stages, so I'm not spending a bunch of time recovering SP but I don't have a -1 combo for Haruka.

Any good tablet recommendations in the $200 range?

I wouldn't necessarily follow this advice if you're playing global because it gets less lazuli than JP does. You have to really be judicious in spending lazuli on global. They run a lot of expensive step recruiters, and they're generally not worth doing unless you're going to get 3-5 steps in, which often involves multiple 10 rolls and usually no rate increases for the first few steps. Not to mention global still has mana gacha characters in the lazuli gacha, and it isn't uncommon to get 8-10 of them in a roll.

The second step is usually a pretty good idea to pull. The last step is up to you. The bad part about rolling a 5* character instead of their base 3* or 4* form is that you lose out on evo points, so your 5* character will be somewhat weaker than if you'd evolved it. On the other hand, a 5* is still a 5*. Personally I only did the first two steps, but if you want to roll the third then go for it.

Absolutely stay out of the shop for evo mats. Those evolution sets are for people that spend a ton of money and are a bad use if you're not planning to open your ass and wallet. Just farm the materials. They rotate in on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is for fusion dolls, and you shouldn't neglect those, either.

Once you've got your character level capped you want to use fusion dolls to get any stats you can to 11/21/31/etc. Doing so gets you an extra stat point when you evolve to the next rarity - 1 extra point for 11, 2 for 21, etc. Just like stats have a cap, denoted by a pink star like the one on 4* Mjolnir's luck, fusion stats have a cap. Caps are determined by type as well as rarity. So a Dexterity type may only be able to fuse an additional 3 points to HP while a Vitality type might be able to fuse 9 or more. If you fuse a stat and the bar shows a green part at the end, it means you can raise it more with fusion. If the bar turns solid blue, it means you've hit the fusion cap.

When fusing, you shouldn't use characters unless it's for limit breaks and skill ups. Just use the fusion dolls from the quest on Friday. You also don't want to limit break lazuli-only characters until their final form unless you're spending money and will be rolling the gacha a lot. Limit breaks don't carry over when you evolve. The only benefit to limit breaking lower rarities is to try to get more stats to carry over evo bonuses. If you're a f2p player, you'll generally only do this with event units that you can farm in-game.

They really dropped the ball with releasing Mechanic and Odin while they served no purpose yet. The game is easily lacking 2-3 recodes over the past weeks, considering 4.5 only features Seiryu^ - who was scheduled for a month after the update and who will be a "free" PoF pull anyway come Friday. Combine that with poor TP offerings and the fact that most people nowadays probably stock up about 10-20k items for the next rotation of each material and there's possibly fuckall to do with the TP bosses. Also, there's no need to fuse anything beyond trying to hit those 11/21/31/etc. thresholds. Just like with limit breaks, fusion does not carry over, so you'll have to fuse again when you evolve. Once you hit the final evolution then you can go ahead and cap all stats for fusion.

You also don't want to use multiple copies of the same stat at the same time. Each fusion doll only gives a 5% chance of success. If you fail the stat increases get halved. A +1 turns into 0, but everything else gets rounded up. So the +3 from a fusion doll gets cut to +2. If you do two fusion dolls at the same time and fail, the +6 gets cut to +3, but if you do them individually they each get cut to +2 getting you +4 instead of +3.

The exception to the success rate is when fusing limit breaks, which give 100% success rate at 4* and 5*. Note that limit breaks have to be the exact same rarity. You can't limit break a 5* with the 4* version, you need to evolve the 4* to a 5* first. You also need to unlock skills in order to level them up.

As long as you are fusing the exact same version of the exact same character, any skills that the consumed copy has unlocked have a 100% chance to boost the skills on the base unit. If the consumed version hasn't unlocked skills that the base version has, there is still a chance the skills could level up anyway but you shouldn't take any chances because with PotK rng if there's a chance you might fail you will fail.

For non event characters, if you're not dumping cash on gumi, the normal order is this:

Level cap 3* > fuse stats to 11/21/etc. > evolve >level cap 4* > fuse stats to 11/21/etc. >evolve > level to 30 >complete both character quests to unlock their unique skill

If you have limit breaks you can generally skip the fusing. Evolve the copies to 5* and level to 30 so that they have all of their skills unlocked, then fuse them to limit break your base and level up all your skills.

There's no way to change type. Whatever you roll is what you're stuck with. Dexterity is what you want for most characters, but a few tanks are best with Guard, and archers often have enough innate Agility and Speed to go with Force, and many gunners go for a Magic type. Vitality is pretty much the worst type for anyone.

If this silver 3*/gold 4* Masamune is the one you're talking about, don't worry. She's a starter and is available in the mana gacha (last gacha all the way on the right in the recruit tab). You'll roll more copies of her eventually. Level up the Vit one to 5* in the meantime, and eventually when you get a Dex type you can use the Vit to limit break and level skills.

Aymur, Amenonuhoko (the silver 3* in your party) and Fragarach can go to 5*. That Pinaka and Keraunos can go to 5* in JP, but haven't had it added in global yet, so you can level them to 4* and then wait, but don't limit break them yet if you get more copies. That Longinus and Eros at the top only goes to 4*, and I believe the same for that Labrys. The silver 2* Vajra also only goes to 4*. Any silver 1* or gold 2* should be sold. That's as high as they can go.

You want to get both of those Aymur to 5* and then when all of her skills are unlocked you can limit break one with the other. Dexterity is the best type, followed by Guard or maybe Force.

Consider replacing either Eros or Pinaka with Fragarach.

They're the same. The gold 4* Aymur in your party is the evolved version of the silver 3* Aymur you have there. She maxes out at red 5*.

The job name is irrelevant, and mostly just flavor text. 3* Aymur's job is "Armored Hacker" 4* is "Baron" and 5* is "Grand Baron". As long as characters have the same portrait art, they're the same character as far as limit breaks and skill ups are concerned. They just need to be the same rarity when you fuse them to get the limit break.

Here she is in 5* form. The red upwards arrows on her skills indicate a guaranteed skill up. There are also green and yellow arrows, which indicate a lower chance of skill up. You can use any character with the same skills to try to skill up, but only exact copies guarantee a skill will go up 100%.

The game is legit fun the first time you go through the story. After you max your character (doesn't take that long since there is no stamina and the first stages of ALO are pretty good for farming outside of dailies) it isn't very challenging anymore. The hardest event bosses at the time were going down with just a few special skills from my 5* Yuuki. Haven't played in a few months so I don't know if something important changed.

It is not p2w but you should reroll for a 5* you like. Gacha can be cruel so better assure you have something decent to start with, besides you need to roll for a decent weapon too.

So yeah, some things to note about the current event
- Raid Shop can be reset 3 times in total
- First reset is free
- The end reward in the shop alternates between a qt3.14 and some fagshit each time you reset it
- Ranking for raids only counts individual fights,. so you cant do multiple runs to score a good rank (apparently)

Getting more crit rate is very much wasted if you mean the crit buff girl, and her slide attack is just a static 'X damage' attack so it's incredibly meh

Free Asuna and Kirito are okay, but nothing particularly special. You should still reroll for a good unit. This way you can use rerolled unit + Kirito + Asuna in your party so you can save your gems for better units.

At launch the tier list goes like this:

S - Sword Yuuki, Dagger Silica
A - Staff Seven
B - Twin Sword Kirito, Rapier Asuna, Sword Leafa, Sword Strea, Sword Rain
C - Rifle Sion, Sword Klein, Mace Lizbeth
D - Mace Egil

All of them were powercreeped later but Yuuki and Silica still remain A tier. If you want the very best reroll until you get Sword Yuuki. Funnily enough she was powercreeped by another version of herself. Avoid tier C and D like a plague and keep B or A only if you're very tired of rerolling.

In the long run I'd say Silica is better, but right now Yuuki has an easier time dealing with everything the game has.

Yuuki has an 11-hit combo skill with decent range for a melee weapon, does great damage and can make enemies flinch so you can even catch more than one at the time and easily clear an entire wave. 1H Sword is also very easy to play. Her only weakpoint would be her MP generation.

Silica is overall great because she has an attack buff + recovery. You can boost your own damage and recovery constantly. Also Dagger has high movement speed so she's easy to play too.

Coins seem same as last ti me for the 2 raids I've seen, lvl 1 full clear gave like near 500 for self-host just about. I'd have to see more to feel it out but again the problem with raids last time was the rarity of procs that first 5 days anyway.

When you buy the 6 items in the top row you'll get the character to the left which is who youre aiming for
Stuff on the bottom are an instant raid spawn ticket (garbage), reset boss to lv1 ticket and a 4-5* character ticket which can be bough once per day

I'd say that buying the 4/5* tickets daily is quite important seen as the 5* rate i'd guess is somewhere between 5-10%
Though it might hurt your coin supply so make sure you can afford it ontop of getting the 5* character from the first row

I feel like if you spend money, do it on something big otherwise don't bother. Bronze is a good buy for stacks and like the $10 for archangel fodder and 35 stacks with the 10 draw ticket is excellent. Pretty much the black deals or better are worth the money because this gacha has screwed me quite a lot with rates.

With android 6, the steps were pretty convoluted for me.

First, I had to uninstall all google play update, disable google play auto update, restart phone, and then start VPN as soon as phone booted.

Even then, google play still updates anyway eventually, so I had to do all that again

I'm guessing if I have custom ROM on specific version, I don't have to deal with the play store auto update crap

Hmm you only have to do it once. If you safely install the first time with vpn, the next time there is an update, download will be automatic region free no vpn is require.

No idea why you required that many steps. I only need to clear cache and data from play store, services and games and making sure it wasn't running in the background before turning on vpn. No need for any uninstalling or disabling.

I use Nox. Works perfectly with DC for me although it does have issues with some games namely girls frontline.

If you have some problems you may experience better results by increasing the RAM allotment for the emulator. You also I think need to tick the setting for root access.

Now we have to do several things to get gems from achievements.

>click the fourth main menu button, pick any girl and click the top left blue button

>click on the floating heads on the map and read (skip) their interludes
>click the blue/pink speech bubble on top of your main girl and give her a gift
>click the cat icon (achievement menu) and redeem everything
>go to your gift box and receive everything

This should leave you with 3550 gems to roll with. If you are close to another roll after rolling then go to the main screen and do the interludes of the new girls you just rolled. If you don't get what you want then reroll.

I don't think there is a faster way to get the remaining 450 gems to do a 11-roll
