Not to take away from Faker's accomplishments, but it's more of the infrastructure around Faker and Korean Esports in general that has resulted in the talent that he has produced. To use an example: there's only one Bjergsen, but if Faker disappeared today, there would be someone to take his place because of the depth of the Korean player base. The Koreans in general understand how to take the game to another level. It's something other regions CAN do, but it's a question of whether they want to or not and how hard they're willing to work for it.

in the pro scene? I'd make a rule where a champion is automatically banned for the rest of a series if they're played and they win a game. So if katarina is on the winning team in game one of a series, she cannot be played by either team for the rest of the series, on top of the normal 5 bans each team gets. If a Bo5 goes to game 5, there are a total of 30 champions banned for that last game - 20 champs banned from being on the winning side of games 1-4 and 10 more selected bans at champ select as normal.

The other posters aren't quite correct. It's not that the nerfs made him bad in pro play, it's that the way Lee Sin gets leads is by bullying the enemy jungler and getting lanes ahead early, but LCK teams know how to play a controlled farm style so even if they fall a bit behind in the early game, they can hold out until later when Lee is much less useful. In addition, LCK junglers are much better at countering Lee because they are better at predicting jungle paths and avoiding him/counterganking him, weakening what is supposed to be Lee's strength.

Winrates mean absolutelly nothing because they are lowered by the amount of people that play the champ and fail at it.

Lee Sin had a 56%wr 2 months ago despite having 34% play ratio and stuff like darius, lb, etc is played by a high majority of the playerbase, hence the more games the more possibilities to lose or perform badly with the champ.

C9 is good, yes, but you're kidding yourself if you think the other teams are playing well. TSM's games are extremely sloppy chicken fests, in game 3 vs C9 DIG gave up a bunch of turrets because of poor rotations, likely as a result of a lack of communication and planning, CLG's games are also chickenfests even against a team as garbage as NV, which is bottom tier (mid tier at best, but I highly doubt it). If the other teams were performing up to snuff, C9 wouldn't look so good. Why is NA unable to make it to Semis at worlds for example? Because teams in other regions are better. If our domestic teams were as good as say LCK teams, C9 would not be looking so dominant.

Galio shoots a narrow linear beam out, damaging all targets hit by it and leaving a trail of magic dust on the ground for 3 seconds. Each cast, one ally can click the trail of dust which will grant them FREE passage to Galio's current location (within tether range).

PASSIVE: Galio gains 10/20/30 Armor and +25/50/75% Base Mana Regeneration.
ACTIVE: Galio becomes briefly unstoppable and lunges forward to the targeted enemy champion and then taunts all enemies in a large radius around him, storing energy as he takes damage and then unleashing that stored energy as damage when his taunt ends. During this taunt, enemies who attack Galio take a percentage of their maximum HP as damage for every third autoattack they use against him.
