aight, so I'm tweaking my ENB a little bit, and I'm noticing something weird.

Top screenshot is from about 4:30 AM, gametime. Bottom is from 6:30 AM (i.e., right after day time starts).

Notice how at night, the colors are more saturated, and the light is stronger. imo, it's a bit oversaturated, and it doesn't look as good as the daytime lighting. Obviously, night time and day time lighting would be a little different, but the lighting coming off a fire, for example, should be identical.

Now, I've run through the weather file for the current weather, and all the interior settings match up. So, what gives?

I'm the anon who Never used anything but NMM before so I've spent the weekend learning the right way and so far I'm actually having loads of fun figuring it out.
I have a question about how to go about things.

I did a fresh install, installed MO and added SKSE, FNIS, Wrye Bash, LOOT, TES5Edit to it and started to learn how to use all of these...

But say if I wanna end up with about 100 mods, how do I go about putting them all in? i.e I added SkyUI, FNIS and XPMSE and checked that they were working. Do I just carry on adding mods, run LOOT and then check they work?

How often do I use WryeBash or TES5Edit? Do I clean everything when I'm happy that I have enough mdos to start playing?Or every 3-5 new mods when I test?

just check them off on the list on the left, that enables them. basically just carry on adding mods, run loot when youre finished tho. test with tes5edit (and also running the game) every so often to make sure the game works.
then once its good and ready, run wyre and make that bash patch. thats basically all there is to it.

After swapping from ECE to RaceMenu I am now missin a lot of slider options on custom races. For example only vanilla haircuts are availabe.

So i found the file which probably manages races. I added the custom races in \Data\meshes\actors\character\facegenmorphs\racemenu.esp\races.ini which I extracted with FO3 Archieve Utility. However I do not know how I could put this file in my game. My skyrim directory does not have \facegenmorphs\racemenu.esp\races.ini, not even the facegenmorphs folder. I figure the folder is created when loading racemenu with a mod manager? Or should it be there but isn't because of a failed installation?

Could anyone with RaceMenu check the folder structure in \Data\meshes\actors\character?

For Whiterun and Solitude maybe. I wouldn't recommend it though. It's too big and it walls smaller settlements off. Also houses look too boxy and sharp edged.

Need help.

Starting up Skyrim after some time, now that with new edition there's some fixes and new mods. I look for a house mod but it seems that every bigger building I see on nexus is either heavily scripted or (and) full of junk.

Does any anon know of any big (not grandiose, just with several sizeable, empty rooms) buildings that are absolutely barebones? I mean, some furniture like a couple of beds and some table - sure, unlockable with cash and effort crafting stations - maybe. But nothing beside that except of some lamps so it won't be another dark hole and possibly it's location being somewhere in the middle of the map, but not in somecompletely open area.

I want to put down my own cutlery, fill bookshelves with my own books, stock up pantry with personally bought/found/made food and hang a sword I've made myself over the hearthfire. Normally, player-built homes would be fine for that but the fact that I have to choose between several different rooms and upon building them having those rooms often stocked and furnished bothers me.

I know it may be ironically a tall order - but can anyone help? Or I am forced to make such thing myself (and fail and give up or forget something important like navmesh for followers/kids)?

iframes work just as normal as any other game from what I can tell. It's just that it seems the timing is a bit stricter since. Generally speaking, you don't wanna be dodging unless you're in low stance since it's the best stance for evasion.

As for bosses, they aren't too much harder imo. In fact after learning the controls, I found Ogress to be extremely easy.

The sword isn't around, it was basically the pinnacle of swordsinging techniques. In the higher techniques, you don't even need a sword, and can just 'sing' it into existence, much like how you can shout fire into existence with The Thu'um.

If the next game is in Hammerfell though, having a swordsinging gimmick similar to the Thu'um would be interesting.

Some yoku-dindu figured out how to sing a sword into existence and basically cut an atom in half when he swung it and broke reality for a few moments as the entirety of Yokuda 'sunk' under the force of the impact.

Swordsinging usually does require a sword, but in this case the yokudindu who blew up Yokuda it didn't have a sword. Swords are basically a handicap for 'true' swordsinging, but extremely dangerous nonetheless since babby's first swordsong is about making the metal of the sword vibrate so hard it warps reality around it, so in principal you could expand/contract the blade, change its shape, etc.

Its a shame Yokuda sunk because they were the closest to the Dwemer in terms of tonal bs. They's sing buildings into existence, and have festivals with pipe-players who would generate trippy stories and folktales into the sky as well as light the way for onlookers in the streets below. Basically the total opposite of the Dwemer in how they approached using the reality-warping fuckery that was tonal manipulation.
