If you're having trouble visualizing shit, pipes are garden hoses, pumps/valves/scrubbers are the faucet, vents are the nozzle.

Volume pumps will pump the target to ~9000kpa and are "faster" than gas pumps
Gas pumps will pump up to 4500 kpa
You can use digital valves to bypass the speed bottleneck and just have the air tank scrubbing air directly into distro while stil lbeing able to shut it off in case of contamination
Think of them as switches, you always need something as a switch between you're source and what you're doing so you don't do shit like pipe the plasma pipe into the oxygen pipe feeding the airmixer
Canisters will fill a tank only up to their current pressure. So a 500 kpa oxygen cansiter will only fill a tank up to 500 kpa. A portapump will fill as long as it has gas. So when working with small quantities or very cold gas use a portapump
You can basically chill to -266C
If you want to use air injectors/gas sensors, multitool them. Match the frequency of a large tank control console and put the device's tag into the console to get it to work.
If you hate pipe conflicts, you can use a layer adapter or layer manifold to get off default and go anywhere easy.
If there's a lot of damage, you can just glass pane instead of walls to quickly seal an area faster.
You can remove plating with either a RCD, mech rcd, borg rcd, heavy explosives, or a ripley drill

Replace the default air to distro setup so it's faster
Either use inflatable doors to get into a severe breach/hot/cold room or use rglass to make a 1x2/2x2 windoor and glass "airlock" or just glass pen to get in and work without assblasting the whole place
Turn of the distro to brig gas pump above fitness in that little maint room to like 800 kpa or what the fuck ever
Tap waste so you can pump canisters or pumps into it. If you're lazy, just put a pump at the eng primary hallway tap.

RPG anon here again. I'm only going to use a few, essential skills (charisma, endurance, perception, strength, intelligence, and robustness) and have checks based on those, and combat stats (accuracy, power, etc) that are based combat experience and their primary skills, just to keep things simple.

Right now I'm thinking about canning endurance (it was just physical resistance) and making that a strength thing, but I feel like it'd be strange to have a strength check to see if you can keep going after being shot or something.

Favorite one I've ever pulled off was building a repeating mass driver into a supermatter shard over the sat radio beacon, then used handtele to port everyone into it. Instant silent no-body death to anyone I could ctrl-click.

I've been meaning to figure out something with medical beds and telepathy, they completely block all projectiles but you can still disarm/push/kick/punch anyone adjacent. Should also be able to use weapons if you glue them to your hand first.

I was just trying to add some SS13 flair, but that makes more sense, in case someone wanted to take the game and put it into a different setting.

Right now the stats are:
>Charisma - How persuasive, charming, and verbally skilled a character is. Check example: Convincing someone to stand down.
>Dexterity - Cunning and physical skillfulness. Also determines melee accuracy and evasion. Check example: Disarming a nuclear operative.
>Intelligence - How smart a character is. Check example: Re-assembling a broken machine.
>Strength - How physically strong a character is. Also determines melee damage. Check example: Pushing an unbolted vending machine.
>Perception - General awarenes. Also determines ranged accuracy. Check example: Locating and shooting someone in a dark room.
>Endurance - Physical resistance. Check example: Continuing to fight after being badly wounded.

Experience, job, and race are what modify the stats, so for example, a diona would get higher endurance and strength, but lower intelligence and dex. Stuff like that. Is that simple enough, or too complicated for spess?

Job and race determine how high or low your stats are, as well as success in checks. So for instance, being Vox would lower charisma, but being a detective would improve it.

There wouldn't really be a way to dump points into something. I may make it so you get stat-specific EXP for passing checks, though.
