Today’s update focuses on improvements to the in-game interface with various modifications to the Shop layout and Hero Control Console. For a full list of changes, read our patch notes here.

Shop Interface

The in-game Shop interface has been reworked to restore the item grid to the right-side orientation with hero guides extending to the left, and popular items are now highlighted directly in the item grid. Popular items are dynamically created and updated based on the top items purchased by players with an MMR of 5,000 and higher. Additionally, all players have a row of global customizable pinned items under the grid that can be set to match personal item preferences for quicker access.

Hero Control Console

We’ve made adjustments to the Hero Control Console layout to accommodate several changes, including making hero attributes always visible and showing both the base and bonus values for damage, armor, and attributes by default. We’ve also increased the size of HP/Mana bars, increased the area for multi-unit selection, and introduced multi-unit icons that scale dynamically based on the initial number of units selected.

Hotkey Support

We’ve restored the option to activate the Learn Ability mode with a hotkey. In addition, hotkey support is now available for opening the Hero Talent Tree to select the left or right Talent branch.

Talents were obviously going to be initially unbalanced on release, anyone who looked at the complete idea for three seconds would realize that. Its simply impossible to test all the combinations before releasing it no matter how big your QA team.

I think balancing ALL of them was impossible, but just looking at the 25 tier there shouldn't such a huge jump in quality between heroes. Some have 1 good obvious choice and a bad one, some heroes have 2 good choices, and some heroes have 2 shit choices.

Some of the underpicked heroes could really just get Aghs as a 25 talent and make an existing ability crazy to counter-balance it. Then add a new Aghs.

Only ones so far from here I've seen is you can't see all your stats when dead - which is very superficial for a complaint because it doesn't affect your playing until you're fucking dead in which case you're still shit and shouldn't be blaming the HUD.

My complaint about the HUD would be the talent tree occupying what's essentially a skill slot. I'd have preferred it overlaid on the hero portrait or something.

I tested this and I go from 100 FPS on max settings to 180 FPS on lowest.

Also Dota uses like 80% CPU for me.
40-50% if I'm alt-tabbed.

And this isn't even using GPU as a measure for FPS but CPU wtf? I know Dota 2 uses a lot of CPU but if you're concerned about stable FPS your GPU would matter more.
