OpenShot + ffmpeg

I used OpenShot to arrange all of the webms and general logo which was kind of a pain in the ass, desu, since I had to skew the two on the right to fit properly due to aspect ratio differences

I then exported it to webm in editor. That was easy easy-peesy. Came out a 3.5MB.

I then just fed the final video through ffmpeg with variable encode to keep most of the quality while still getting it small enough to post and it shit out that tiny thing of a file.

So yeah. Gotta love FOSS software.

Is anyone working on anything InSim/Awesomemod/Twallan-like for Sims 4? I have the Command Center from MTS but just wondering if there's something else I should know of.

Also, oh my, Sims 4 isn't that bad... maybe.

Sims 4 feels much more like a sequel to Sims 2 than Sims 3. This is a good thing, we'll see how long it lasts.

I agree and it's the best thing about it. The more I play TS4 the more I begin to detach TS3 as part of the Sims. TS3 just feels like a black sheep both visually and conceptually, imo. That's not a bad thing by any means but it definitely changes the way I treat it and see it. I reckon it was was too ambitious of a game that the devs simply didn't have the talent and skill to keep it as functional and standardized as it deserved.

AA in TS4 isn't as taxing on your hardware as you may think. Lighting is your biggest enemy when it comes to performance. If your PC isn't up to snuff I suggest putting it on low. You can raise the AA and you shouldn't be hit with much FPS drops if at all.

Thanks, but I did a shit ton of debugging and testing, and concluded that nothing was conflicting. Turns out none of these fucking modders have the common sense to distribute TEXTURES or at very least tell you "hey you need to get textures", but the one you linked had textures in the optional section so I gave them a shot, and go figure, it works fine now.

Don't buy furniture, get it from dumpster diving and what you can get off junkyards. Sell potions from Generation's lab table, you'll have to use a mod in order to give them value, though. A bit posh but you could make cheap wine/"nectar" and sell it.

This is more of a request than a suggestion: is there a mod that lets you cook minor pets? Because if so, another idea is to get a cat, make it hunt and only eat what it catches.

Just got home and I realized that you can't pick and chose selfie poses, which sucks because I actually like them.

1 is very comedy oriented. there are jokes and silly things happening all over the place. building houses can be frustrating, especially if you are used to the ease of the building tools we have in ts4. The sims themselves don't have any personality traits and there are limited faces/clothes/hair even with all the expansion packs. It might feel primative but the game has a lot of charm and a very comfy vibe. There is also a lot to do with the expansion packs. I'd say give it a try and find it somewhere on the net.
