It's got dialogue/cutscenes for all of the bosses and endings, all fully voice-acted, each boss has "shame breaks" for clearing a third of their health in time where their clothes get more and more ripped/torn off ass the fight progresses, and there's a bunch of fan service gallery art to unlock by doing various things.

There's 8ish characters, each with a basic shot and three "element shots" that are on separate buttons that each have a meter that replenishes over time or if you pick up hidden gem items throughout the stages (Some of them have other ways of sustain). You can also customize and swap element shots as you see fit before starting the game once you've played as everyone, so there's a ton of different combinations of element shots, and the element shots are quite varied. Doing damage with element shots fills a meter that generates gems that allow you to upgrade your element shots between stages, which changes their properties and strength.

Two of the three modes have two Raiden-styled missions sandwiched in between the levels, and the ground levels have hidden Sol towers like Raiden as well.

I'm having a great time with it overall.

Try learning an isometric like neo drift out, it's a really easy 1cc that is basic memorisation and left right execution without even needing the brake then you can start going for times from there. 3d wise ridge racer 4 is a good easy intro imo. Wipeout xl/3 take a lot of learning on phantom but again easy on lower speeds.

So I just tried Touhou 15 for the first time.
Everything about this game is just odd. The new grazing is odd, the music is odd, the pacing feels odd. Even managing to not miss on the first stage is all of a sudden difficult since I'm taking too many risks trying to get the most amount of life pieces possible.

3 can be but not to much but 5 is only troll maybe 1/8 times as your plan should cover it quite easily.

Small tanks have rng timers and can be a bit trolly but rarely a problem, a couple bosses and stage 5 midboss/ helicockters are legit poorly designed and can range from extremely easy to absurdly troll credit to credit.

Only the bosses are, and it doesn't matter if you're going for a 1-ALL since you can bomb through the troublesome attacks. Although there may be ways to predict and manipulate bosses that I'm not aware of since I'm too shit. I do like it though no matter how frustrating it can be. No idiot it's because it's 2 entirely different genres and fighting games competitively focus on reflex in union with pattern recognition where as shmups don't focus on reflex much at all if you play them properly, they are much more focused on devising plans and executing accordingly.

The way i did it was to play and ban myself from ever bombing even if it means death, it forces you to learn the game properly and you can bring back in bomb use later. Problem is if you're thinking about bombs you're misdirecting attention aswell from survival.

Thats the same thing brother. Reflex memorization. You notice patterns an execute accordingly. 1 to 3 frame moves that you have split second to react to with only a particular move that also has a 1 to 2 frame punish that leads into a tight window combo frame. I tend to think these 2 genres are intertwined somehow on reflex alone and practice. And cut out the edginess.

You are right but what about the input reading on higher difficulty against the AI? For instance....in SF3 with Ibuki. If you throw 3 lightning kicks at the start of a match specifically with Ken, he will jump and continue to shoryu if you punish. Its an easy loop that manipulates the AI.

Go back to those 2hus, select the same difficulty and pretend the bomb button doesn't exist. This will force you to have to read the field and dodge patterns instead of relying on the bombs to save you.
