In the Japan version of Mobius I was running a high rarity deck with the Judge job equipped, I was hoping when Global came around that I could regain that. But no, I gotta pay $75 to get back to where I fucking was, but that's totally fair because SE gives me 100 magicite every day so they have an excuse to never give out any magicite for anything else.

Hey, /ffg/, I asked for advice last week about which of X, XI, or XII to get last week from a local console repair and game outfit. They weren't able to save my 360 (for which they had a copy of X), SO was roundly decried as dead and shit, so I got XII and...

I gotta say, it seemed too upbeat and clean for my tastes at first, but once I focused on stopping being an edgy faggot, it's really kind of been enjoyable for the first 12 hours. Cluckatrice is quite the cunt, I didn't research what to arrive for on the license board so it's suboptimal, and being used to turn based shit made the combat a little more challenging than I had expected, but overall I'm digging it. No. Her stats are good, and her 60% stat-up songs have some limited function for certain parties, but her spells are bordering on useless and singing generally is niche at best in FFBE (Enhanced Ramza excluded).
If you're awash in TMRs but without a full team of good units (it happens to some people), you can staple Dualcast and Ultima/Meteor to her and get solid results. But outside that very limited zone, she's not worth considering.

magic in the game is shitty. Yes, you can. you will eventually lower your stats. But most battles will be over before a significant reduction in stats. However, the most optimal damage output is limit spam.

You can mitigate this with GF skills, but really, only at the end of the game. Auto-haste, MAG+% skills, and so forth allow you to use lower skills for stat boosting and still hit high numbers.

Yeah, and it gives a little more xp if you feed the right color to the right esper. Phantom Forest mostly gives green, which doesn't give more for any esper we have now, but there's so much of it that it's more efficient to farm that and feed whatever esper than farm a certain type.

Farming specifically for magicite and megacite is really slow any way you do it though, so you have to be really desperate to do it. It's usually better just to wait for events and hope that they have some way you can buy or farm them.
