Fly to squishies and shoot them forever. If things get hot you fly away and heal. Since her ult is easy to avoid in a lot of cases, I prefer to use it as an extra life. You can jump in 6v1 and as soon as you see the warning icon pop up before ejecting, you can hit Q and they'll scatter so you can just hop back in your mech and resume jacking their healers up.

I thought she was fine before the buff. She was good at attacking from weird directions and she can kill most 200 or less HP enemies before they can de-meka her. The only good change they added was getting your meka back no matter what when you self destruct.

She's a bully with a more focused approach than Winston and doesn't get removed from the fight for several seconds like he does when his shield is on cool down.

Not really. Out of all the heros she does exactly what I want to do. She can get in and out fast, block most damage, and is generally a threat just by being around.

When I go from another hero to her, there isn't a single second where I have to re-orientate myself with her. Once I'm playing here its like breathing. I know my limitations and abilities to a T.

I have never gotten bored of Dva because I genuinely enjoy her play style.

Don't main a character, main a few including one from each role. I mostly play healers but I have a pretty good Rein and Pharah, and I'll occasionally switch to Mei on CP and defense.

Nobody is amazing with every single hero, and you shouldn't try to be. But it's even worse to just pick one guy (e.g. Genji/Hanzo) and just play it on principle 'because it's my main'.

You don't want to main one character, you sort of need to know a bit of everything so you can know what to expect from your enemies. Part of knowing how to reflect as a Pyro was to play Demo or Soldier and know when they'd use their projectiles, their speed etc.

Git gud in one or two for every role. Mei is more of a defensive hero who only really shines on certain clustered maps

You should be able to play atleast two tanks, two healers, and two DPS.

But to answer your question, she's really great on certain maps. Always on defense, and ones where the chokepoint can be completely sealed off by her ice wall. So she's good on Anubis, eichenwald, hanamura, etc but not as good on volskaya, dorado, etc
