When they nerfed curse the main anti-heal item back then in season 2, so Hel became meta and trust me it's not something you want, her burst heal basically make her win game by herself because her team was unkillable.

the thing about the Herc situation is that is was most deadly when paired up with another healer, he was just the sponge thanks to his 3 which granted up to 90% damage mitigated as healing. BUT the thing is, how many fucking times have you or anyone you've seen play Herc, use his 3 just to heal, that's it, just to heal.
