How to use:
1. Install script into browser.
2. Go into "your_game\www\data" folder and pack all files for back up.
3. Open System.json in browser.
4. Copy text you've got.
5. Open System.json with notepad/word/whatever in Unicode utf-8 (this is important).
6. Paste text into it.
7. Save.
That's it.
I didn't touched armorTypes, elements, variables and weaponTypes yet, since I suspect they might broke something if translated. Maybe except variables but that's requited actual translation, not copy paste from earlier translated RPG Maker games (in this case Arms Devicer).

Personally I've always manually made my own partials through RPGM, though I've started using RPG Trans since it handles duplicated text nicely (To be clear I'm an EOP using GoogleTL + Rikia-kun + Dictionary). The items json is pretty safe to translate, just ctrl f "name" and "description" and edit the stuff in quotation marks next to them. The system json can be a bit tricky. For menu sfuff that cannot be translated from there use common events json instead.

Nah, I don't intend to translate anything, just made a crude tool to replace certain common lines so anybody could make some quick partials for menus for (presumable) any MV games.
Also, they put additional non-common menus and some other things into /www/js/plugins.js

But I got to say this json pretty tolerant to changes and some other abuses - you can make breaks between words and shit, so it would look easer for eyes and comprehensible for mind, and game still works, and don't seems to be care about it at all.

Just played it: there are 8 scenes, basically no coherent story 3 small towns with no interactions, if you look at the DL page you have seen all the scenes plus 1 that isn't even in the game, the piracy doesn't do anything as there is nothing to spend money on except crew and prostitutes for the crew (no scene), and you have to dally and waste time to get raped by the crew, the game is a dungeon crawler and the dungeons are uninteresting and hard to see as your sprite blocks the left side and you can only see 1 square ahead, all the bosses cause game overs, also the most annoying: enemy encounters reorient you so not only do you have to do 2 QTE actions you then have to spin around to get back on track. However it is doable in 30 minutes and you get to a gallery mode of all the scenes that seems to be implemented by the translator as 1 of the recalls gives you a game over, but there is no point as there is no gravity, continuity nor plot to the sex so just decrypt and fap to art.

Finish the Namasensei videos. His lessons are pretty good and he was also my first introduction to Japanese 3 years ago. Read "Japanese the manga way" it's a cheap book that uses manga as examples of grammar usage. Which is relevant to how it's used in doujinshi/hentai games.

That said. After configuring VNR and tuning it to your specific needs you probably will be satisfied enough to put off learning Japanese for a while. But just as with fetishes you'll keep wanting more and more and eventually you'll have to learn Japanese anyway.

You should approach Kanji slow and steady. learn grammar and vocab at the same time. Learning the Joyo kanji (2136 kanjis) took me around a year.

I recommend Wanikani. Yes it costs money but It is simply the best learning method out there right now.

Yes you can do monthly but I don't recommend doing monthly since it's a system designed from the ground up to teach you all 2000 kanji. Meaning that switching from the wanikani method to some other kanji learning method halfway is pretty hard because the way they teach you the kanji is in an unorthodox way (japanese people learn it in a different order). They do this because English speakers learn Kanji faster and better this way since they teach you simple kanji and afterwards bigger kanji made up out of the kanji you've already learned making the learning method easier on you. Doing monthly might waste your money in the long run.

-playthroughs are a near necessity to get proper context.

Proper documentation/API removes the need to read the source code because it already tells you how parts of ATLAS/LEC/whatever communicate with each other and you only need to "teach" your program to "speak their language" in order to hijack their functionality for your needs.
