I don't know what this means. If you mean you've made too many characters and can't create more without paying nx for character slots, the only answer is to buy some or delete characters. There are plenty of events though that give you free slots, so I'm confused on how you don't have enough already.

So what this records event boils down to is, if my information is correct, is that everyone that joins in a day or two afterwards is fucked from getting any rewards, because everybody is already ahead with the records and doing the 'best' methods to get higher, and there will always be someone with extreme autism doing the same thing over and over to secure their 1st place ranking in the category they chose.

If this is correct, then is there any reason to do things relating to this shitty record event if someone joins in after a few days, if everyone else would be a few days ahead? Or do these rankings reset?

I got the rewards in this picture for, what I think to be only qualifying for 10 records. Like I wrote, I think I only broke about 6 different ones, but I qualified for 10.

Yeah, something like that. Macros that can easily be written so bots get the records and nobody else can contend with them. That goes for pretty much all of the monster-related ones and the item ones.

So that just leaves the ones where people can be afk and continue to get their record. Which bots can crash servers for and delay it so people have to be at their computers, as evidenced by the crashes going on. But that's still a higher chance than contending with bots in other categories.

Go figure the one record that bots can have a chance of losing at is ones where the objective is to literally do nothing. Henehoes have that down pat.

Bots already lost the highest damage one. It's only damage dealt in 1 line. Legitimate players can either use Black Heaven to hit 10b cap or be funded enough to do it. And once someone hits cap the record is set forever.

Maplestory resources are kind of ass and I can't really find an answer for these two questions.

Is there a list to see how much stats are added on equipment with star force? I couldn't find one and wanted to see how much +atk my HQ dimensional gloves get since they're at +2 atk.

Second question is, my HQ glove is legendary and I have a sweetwater drop. Is it alright to transpose my HQ glove to sweetwater or would I lose out on stats somewhere? I just don't want to cube it up to legendary. I'm on reboot and have zero plans of getting a tyrant glove, so transposing that isn't an option.

When you transpose it resets the pot sort of, you'll keep the legendary tier but get new lines

The number of times you can star force an item is at the top of items. You can see where a star would go if you've reached that level. I believe 140+ level requirement usually hits 15 stars max. As for transposing, it will knock off one star and reset the legendary potential meaning you will have to reroll if you already got the stats you want.

Typically the only items that gain weapon attack on star force are weapons and superior items (specifically after 5 stars). Armor otherwise adds either 2 or 3 to the stats currently on the item. I can't remember the exact number. If you're xenon in reboot, it may even be beneficial to get something like the cra helms from the bosses that act as lucky items, meaning they can give you the bonus of cra gear and work better with starforcing because they have all 4 stats.

how to cheese world records / get personal world records counted
leveling up record: make a bunch of characters that get free 1-10 level-ups because of tutorial or some shit. do this 12 times (12x9 = 108) to qualify for the personal records (min. 100)
mount record: go to your characters and buy the 7 day airplanes from that guy who sells the mounts in six pathway (min. 10)
hair record: use the tot's free hair coupon and the beauty parlor introduction quest to do it (min. I think 5)
face record: same as above, except only the beauty parlor introduction quest works (min. I think 5)
chair record: sit in chair for at least 2 hrs
mount record / daredevil record: get a flying mount, get HP to below 10%, and fly. every 100 minutes you have to reset your flying mount, but you don't recover hp when flying, so you can afk
