What the fuck are badges? I followed the guide on 3dsthem.es but they don't show up. Is there a more in depth guide on getting them to work? What all do I need besides the badges and the manager?

So i was getting annoyed at the english dub in my freeshop eu version of Stella glow. I downloaded the Undubbed Hans i found on 3ds iso for the EU version of the game and ran it through the homebrew i have from hacking my 3ds in late december.

The installation process i used was download the file, 7zip it, create a hans folder at my sd cards directory, and put the romfs file in there. After that, open hans through homebrew, select stella glow, turn romfs > 3ds to yes and click ok. The romfs path listed there is the one i mentioned earlier, but when i select ok it always freezes at the 'prepared to run loader' message. Is this the correct/best way to get undubbed audio for games + did i fuck up in what i did?

The best way to undub is to install an undubbed CIA. However, given you've already made progress, doing so may clear it if it's the wrong title ID.

Well, since you have a CFW, you could either download an undub cia of the game or make one yourself with this tutorial (https://github.com/ihaveamac/3ds-rom-tools/wiki).
You can use the undub romfs as the romfs to rebuild it as a cia.
Doing it with HANS is not a bad alternative but unless you don't want a tampered install, it's not really necessary. But Luma3DS also supports romFS redirecting, iirc (which you have most likely). So you could just use that instead of HANS. Unless you want to make screenshots, then stay with HANS.

How can I transfer my Rhythm Heaven save from O3DS to N3DS? I cracked both.

The code for installing a theme is surprisingly barbaric, I might have a go at this myself as the first step to freeing us from chmm2.

Bigger blocksize means that one block gets more easily wasted. Because even 1B too much on a file would take up the whole 128KB block.
So you use up all the space way quicker than you actually should.

I'm selling my Wii-U and everything on friday, but I want to use the Monster Hutner 3 Transfer app to transport my Wii-U data to a 3DS .cia, Problem is no eshop access, and I can't find a .cia of the transfer app anywhere.

That's what I mean. A cache can cause a lot of problems while clockspeed is pretty basic and doesn't change much. So if anything is going to break a game, it's L2 cache.

Test with only Clock, and see if that works. I don't have a N3DS so I can't do it.

Now my homebrew launcher fails to load with a red screen on the bottom, which I normally wouldn't care for but I want to sell the thing, so I'd like to get all its functions working before passing it on. N3DS user here, I've only had mine set to clock and never had a game bugger out, any that can see improvement, do.
Most notable is like Senran Kagura 2 where it doesn't slowdown with 3D on, or Rage of the Gladiator that honestly never played this smooth ever. KI:U also just is smoother in general.

the L2 part though will fuck up KI:U doing stage transfers 4/5 times, and can bugger out some games like Mighty Switch Force after long extended play. I almost can never recommend it on as what little boons it gives outshadows the crashes.

I keep getting C2-12828-1 errors every time I try to start a game in Atelier Meruru+.
It lets me go to the menu, adjust the settings and extras, but I can't start the game.
The file was downloaded from the docs file in the Pastebin, so it should be working. Does anyone know the fix?

Yeah, I was surprised as well, no need for 9.2 downgrade anymore which also required a system format for smoother transition to it. Using it atm without having done any format of any kind so I'm hopeful but at the same time I've never done this before so I wanted to see if anyone had done it and if it worked for a full recovery on anything that's on SysNAND.

You'll keep your games, badges, saves, ALL OF THAT STUFF with the NANDmin, so don't stress it.

At worse, your badges might get disloudged as some games will revert back into 'gifts/just downloaded' status, and those will push the badges off and back into the badge menu. As long as you had Badge Arcade installed, you'll retain access towards such badges.

Case in point, theme from MyNintendo no one else can give you (yet). With Freeshop, and my badges.
