I think Capcom should stop thinking about SF as an arcade game and rather start thinking of it as a full-priced console game.

See how many people bought MKX and very likely will buy Injustass 2 even if they make the entire roster locked in very dumb as fuck pre-order DLCs.

Those games sell because they aren't sold as arcade games where there is only the 1vs1 aspect of a fighting game. This view made sense in the arcade days, but now people want to pay those $60 and get lots of quality content that isn't just "You can play with your friend".

Developers shouldn't forget that fighting games are first and mostly games. And making the game easier isn't the answer either. MKX is much more execution-heavy than SFV and the game still sold like crazy.

It's not costly at all if it wins you the round, what else are you going to use the meter for other than corner carry and the occasional projectile/neutral YRC? With his meter gain and good neutral you have more than enough to work with.

Also, just waiting out Bedman's corner pressure is going to cost you so much life or meter it's not an option for the long term and getting out of it is not free either. Leo and Sol both suffer from worse neutral (especially Leo) in exchange for the extra damage they get.

How does the match making in Guilty Gear Rev/Rev 2 compare to -SIGN-?

I had -SIGN- on PC and I didn't like the match making. You queue for a casual match then it gives you a list of people queueing at the same time, then you select one, and then they accept or decline and often they'd decline or it wouldn't connect. Pretty dumb, especially on PC since there were so little people. And similarly with the lounge.
