What if we doubled power consumption across the board so that engineering was a real job? At the moment it's binary, either no engines have been set up or somebody spent 5 minutes doing solars so you'll never have to worry about power ever again. Engine autism would actually matter.

Ranged stun combat is pretty gay. Its not really even any fun, and its not like you really even have to worry about missing shots, especially as sec, because its not hard to get ahold of 4 of them round start.

How do you maximize the usefulness of the telepad for helping the rest of the crew?

I usually set up cameras, and a crew monitoring device. But theres usually a lot of downtime. Also I send out GPS units to find anomalies (vaults/etc) but people usually arnt interested in exploring them until the end of the round. And its somewhat difficult to self explore them without being a faggot and using the teleporter to steal the hand tele. Or begging the QM for wormhole jaunters.

Any ideas on how to utilize telesci aside from zipping people out of danger, and xploring.

To TL:DR it, every department except science and civilian are part of the military, and you get jobs according to the rank and the branch of the military you set. There is the expeditionary force, muhreens and the fleet. Certain jobs have rank restrictions, and a few have branch restrictions.

Civilian is some contractors that run some parts of civilian like the bar, alongside with all of research who are in charge of doing the prospecting/exploration alongside their normal duties. RD is pretty much the boss of anyone who is not part of the military.

Once again, we'd not need to keep it, as it's kinda iffy, but it's still cool.

You can blow them up if you have lungs. Using a cable coil on one will tie a string to it, which makes it visible in your hand. Balloons can be popped by application of any sharp object.

You can also fill balloons from atmospheric tanks, and they'll store whatever gas they were filled with. So you could make a bunch of plasma balloons or N2O balloons that release their gasses when popped.
