I actually like that everything is an engine for the meta decks to abuse now.
Instead of a closed off xenophobic archetype that would've never seen the meta, now the best cards of these themes can actually shake up the game in their own way. You don't always have to make an entirely new deck to change the game. Using Dinos as an example, the addition of Evolzars to Zoodiacs is going to be HUGE.

Ideas on how to make Subterrors decent on their own, A Nemesis Monster that Summon another Nemisis Monster from the deck and searchers for a subterror spell and trap when its sent to the grave, a Behemoth monster that can special summon itself from hand or grave for free if you control no face up monsters on the field, a Quickplay that can speacial summon a Behemoth from the deck and trigger its flip effect. Does this help subterrors initial problems? Because lets face it we are probably going to get 2 Behemoths with underwhelming effects a Nemesis with a crappy effect like you can tribute set in addition to your normal summon and crappy BoM clone.

I side deck them, so that in the middle of a match, i can put the Zoodiac engine and make the deck work better. For singles i have a secondary version of this deck with the rat on main deck instead of side if i want to be an asshole. I'd use viper but he feels very situational and since i just summon a Leo Dancer with 8000 ATK or a Panther Dancer with 5600 with piercing damage (Lunalight Wolf) on the field so i can smack a monster that doesn't die by battle and drancia got baited or drancia can't pop it twice and win, i doubt i'd need the extra banish-a-monster attack from drancia and even then, no one unironically runs "Cannot be destroyed by battle" monsters.

Most likely, Im pretty surprised that they ended up being so mediocre considering that the last 2 TCG archetypes have been pretty spot on, hell even UA work better than Subterrors. The biggest problem is that they dont have a strong engine, Its difficult to get a Behemoth out on the field to start flipping them down, Nemesis Warrior cant do much on its own and requires a -1 to get things going, Archer is pretty crappy and with a slow effect that has next to no synergy with the rest of the deck, The sad Part is that Nemesis Warrior is borderline broken when the engine gets working, I really hope we get 2 Nemesis monsters with decent effects and 1 behemoth, the description from RATE makes it sound like they are getting some kind of Mind Control like card and some sort of protection.

Do any of the old YGO GBA games not require guides? I've put a few of them on my phone just to give me shit to do while I'm waiting for anything, but I'm getting increasingly pissed off that many of them have some unpredictable requirements for progress like summoning a specific monster or opening some group of packs. Are there any exceptions to this?

On a related note, I've never owned a PSP. If any of that shit can be emulated, should I try any of the Tag Force stuff?
