Hello everybody, Hantz here, owner of the speedsouls website and community Discord.

I'm sure by now you all read some very exciting news and got all hyped about a new target to hate. Well, let me tell you a few things. There is NO "feud" between Bubblesdelfuego and the rest of the Speedsouls community. This is a point that both supporters and oppositors of this drama have gotten wrong.
After a small conversation with a certain individual it was more than apparent that this person has their own agenda of a personal vendetta against a community they ridiculed and as a consequence of that got shunned.

His claims about trying to expose a community (and I dare say one of the largest single game series) speedrun community over being complete dickholes against their own members are fabricated. I asked Bubbles permission (which Snailman of course didn't before jumping in to play the hero saint of a grown man who he thinks can't defend himself) to use his statements made on the Q&A stream from today and he did ask me not to pursue this further, but this isn't about Bubbles, its about you-know-who.

It basically boils down to 3 very basic points. One, there is no feud, and while Bubbles is not an "in-group" member of speedsouls, he is still on good terms with most of us. Two, Bubs made it very clear he is good friends with Miltent and actually asked Staff members of twitch to lift the ban. Three, he sees through Snailmans lies about trying to "help" those poor souls we "harrassed" so badly.

Yes, if you want to call criticising a badly done run through memes, like every big community does harassment, then so be it, but that's not what it is and Snailman knows it.

If you want to believe we can live in a criticism free world, then get a reality check.

You basically have to have a crazy autistic love for something to turn it into a job and not burn out. Like 16 hours a day for weeks, and if you can handle that then you're good and making the right choice. Otherwise get a real job.
