Let's speculate about Oasis for a bit
So far almost all maps had connection to a main story
This building is a pretty big landmark, but not presented in a gameplay.Surprisingly we also have a lot information about it

Though the current structure is already one of the world's tallest skyscrapers, the final plans call for it to extend even further, easily becoming the world's tallest freestanding building. Not much is known about the tower's purpose, other than it ties into the city's massive data gathering and computational efforts.

I think Oasis would be connected to a Doomfist story.He is known to be able to level up buildings with his gauntlet.I think this will happen during his cinematic.
The fact that this building is still in construction, makes it kinda more morally acceptable (civilian casualties thing, ow is kind of family friendly game)

Gold here. Been on a bad losing streak and have dropped all the way down to 1500. Am I truly a shitter? How can I improve? I feel I'm getting no where constantly switching heroes just cause I know we need it and the mei/hanzo/genji/tracer/widow isn't gonna switch.

I'm not looking for an improve overnight scheme, I just feel my current method isn't working. Every game as Lucio is wearing on me since I'm doing good heals and moving people quickly, but we lose despite this.

It's alright. My girlfriend is into it so I'm watching it with her, we're still on the first part (pre-Shippuden). The Zabuza arc is actually good. The tournament stuff is fine and has a lot of well-animated parts that are genuinely fun to watch (Rock Lee vs. Gaara is a great fight). The final fight between the Hokage and Purple Snake Man has one good (well-animated) episode but gets stretched out. Then there's some story/training stuff that's boring, and then about a hundred episodes of pointless filler before Shippuden. We're on the filler right now but we're planning on skipping a lot of it, because it's so goddamn boring.

tl;dr come for the well-animated fight episodes, stay for the Shikamaru and Kiba episodes, and every time Rock Lee shows up.

Also, each episode is only ~15 minutes long so it's easy to blast through them. 1:30 for opening and closing songs, then next episodes preview, previous episodes recap, and replaying a couple of extra scenes not counting gratuitous flashbacks in some episodes jesus christ guys this JUST HAPPENED you don't need to flashback to it and you've skipped past a solid chunk of a 23 minute ep.

Yes, some could use some quality of life changes (Phara's ult gives her some armor, Winston's Shields are un-nerfed, ect) but they're in good spots and don't need much help staying relevant.
It's just other heroes are too strong or too weak.

76 needs a slight damage nerf, Ana needs a few nerfs to you'd see less of her, and Roadhog's hook is losing its fuckmassive hitbox, apparently, so her counters aren't is the best places, aside from Widowmaker, who should utterly stomp her more often than not.

The issue isn't that Overwatch is a strategy game. Strategy games are great and can be plenty competitive. See: Starcraft

It's that Overwatch is an extremely casual and shallow strategy game. It's also hindered by the fact that it pretends it's an FPS - for example, the camera perspective in a real strategy game is top-down, giving the player a full view of their surroundings so they can focus on making good decisions.

Deep strategy games also have resources and goals to fight over, not a simple 'do this and you win' condition.
