There are a number of reasons:
1) a lot of times in the offlane you do not have the luxury of being able to build the druid without putting yourself at risk of being super squishy, so doing the standard rad build is optimal.
2) If you die once and you know might die again it is ALWAYS better to just go jungle than to risk feeding the enemy safelane carry. Because you are now committed to farming you are allowed to be super greedy and build the radiance.
3) Being in the safelane the main goal is to get things done quickly while having a good gpm. Building radiance is not going to give you that option because it consumes a lot of time and right now maelstrom is absolutely bullshit right now so you need to get in the fray as soon as you can and shit on squishy heroes with your 2 million ward range thanks to lance and your first talent.

I am not sure to what extent this is the case in lower mmr games, but many 6-7k average games give one side a huge advantage due to picking order. This is how my typical 6.5k avg pub goes.

I'm 7k, there's one 7k player on the enemy team, and the rest are 5kers or 6kers. Usually, the 7k's are given last-pick and expected to carry the game with it, especially if they indicated they want to play mid or carry. However, one is then forced to pick before the other, meaning the guy with last pick can simply counterpick, and get a favourable match-up based purely on luck. You went SF? He grabs Tinker. You went OD? He grabs Sniper. You went Invoker? He grabs TA. You went Alch? He grabs Timber, etc.

So, what is the solution? Don't reveal each pick immediately, reveal both sides' picks simultaneously after each turn. So, Radiant first-picks, the hero stays hidden, Dire first-picks, both heroes are then revealed at the same time. Repeat for the rest of the picks.

"But what if you try to pick the hero that the enemy team just picked???" In that case, the pick would get revealed, but seeing as there is technically a <1% chance of that happening, it shouldn't affect the system's benefits.

This is just a suggestion, and if anyone or Valve can come up with a better solution, I'm all for it, but the way it works now leaves far too much up to chance.

Man I'll be honest I hated the 7.00 as much as anyone else did when it came out. But this backpack change is fucking amazing, I can play carry now and have fucking wards to place when I'm pushing a tower, I've been winning so many games by myself because of this it's insane. I don't get all the hate for this patch. Been playing since 2003, this patch is completely fine. Game moves super fast like TI4 meta, but icefrog hasn't even nerfed or buffed many of the talent trees. It's been tough to get used to for sure (map hasn't changed this much since 5.84c-->6.00), but it's doable.

Here are my stats for 7.01 on sf. Hero owns right now. Maybe I'll get back up to 4k again.

Is it me or does Reddit fucking hate people who use efficient keybinds? I used to use Manta config/Dota2Core for all my keybindings (it's super fucking efficient), but valve straight up patched it out.

Of course people tried to get it fixed on Reddit, but the entire community was "It's an advantage," to which anyone could so "so is not using legacy keys." Now I have to use an AHK workaround.

Reminder VALVE has a SEPARATE, HIDDEN MMR SYSTEM (known only to them) called WIN PERCENTAGE where it uses to keep you at your TRUE, PROJECTED MMR (which RARELY changes, you need a year of consistent play for it to rise)

IF you calculated at 3k you will almost ALWAYS be 3k, and even if you do climb it has clusters of "true 3k" that even though you might be 4k, you still only get matched with 3k players.

Ok 1, since in your image lich has ice armor already activated, that means jugg has healing ward activated and out of lich's attack range.
2, sacrifice is a useless spell in this scenario, so thats another point against him
3, jugg has a better bat, so the attack slows arent really that effective vs him, not to mention that at that attack speed, the cast times of the spells actually lower the dps of lich himself if he uses it
4, lich has no aghs. If he chain frosts jugg and his illusions, jugg just omni and avoids most of the damage and slow, not to mention the dps of omni is unavoidable,
5, if lich static shields himself, it gets purged. Jugg's shield cant get purged.
6, Daedalus is BadBladeDance, especially since jugg's illusions can crit too
