Druids are not worthless. You need 2 or 3 of them per raid. And since they are the least played class it balances out and is pretty easy to get spots as them. Innervate and battle res is quite powerful.

Sure they can be classified as the "worst" class in the game, but that doesn't mean much since they are still needed in raids and can preform quit well in terms of raw healing once you reach AQ/Naxx.
