The best part is the rotation isn't even right. You cast Frost Bomb only if you're going to get at least 2 ice lances into it, using Water Jet is higher priority even than lance with 3 FoF.

On top of that, you should sit on FoF procs until you have to dump them or you have CttC stacks up, and you should sit on FoF procs if IV has <10s on cd.

Thermal void frost is for true mensch.

do I literally need to kite around mobs with keg toss during engagements to be effective at tanking mythics as a brewmaster monk?

I was doing kara with my shitty artifact and it we pulled like 3 rooms at once by accident and I held aggro / did 20% damage by tossing kegs and rolling away whenever my brews were on CD

is this just the actual way of tanking as brewmaster or is standing there just as viable with (better) gear? I'm 855 with the BM artifact equip (it's only level 20 right now)
