ATK up boosts the arcane damage as well.

Wheel in tricked mode gets its arcane base damage tripled, and HMS does sizeable amounts of ARC damage, and beans are all Arcane.

It's easy to work out, Nourishings are miles better on split damage weapons provided you actually leveled both stats.

Boom Hammer depends, I'm pretty sure if you have 50 Arcane it's better with Nourishings.

BoM, BB and AA are all terrible for arcane, the base damage is pitifully low. It's best to ignore it entirely.

Amy Arm, BoM and BB is shit with Nourishings due to low Arcane base damage and doesn't get buffs. Boomhammer is great with Nourishings if you go 25/50, but if you have 50 Strength Blunts would usually be better unless you're fighting something resistant Physical damage. Tonitrus is best with Nourishings for the buff.

Amy Arm has half the scaling the HMS has. Plus HMS beams do 2.5x listed AR.

Amy Arm's arcane damage just follows its physical damage modifers. It's basically an invisible Amy Arm that does arcane damage and a lot less of it.

At 50 STR, 50 ARC Nourishings *might* be better. But Amy arm is garbage on a 25/50 build.

I haven't played Bloodborne in months, and can't decide what build would be fun to run for a return. I'm thinking bloodtinge or arcane, leaning arcane because I still think BB has the best magic build in terms of sheer fun for any of the Souls games.

What were my weapon options again? I think the starting weapon should be the cane, and then my offhand is the sawspear, and I need the fire and arcane gems from the cathedral ward and the cane in the forest. I think I remember seeing that the beastcutter was a viable alternative to the cane. Not sure if the Holy Moonlight Blade is viable, since I'm not planning on using strength at all.

I forgot a lot, I know there was a handy dandy pic with a guide to Arcane builds on it, but I can't for the life of me find it.

Reminder that Demon's Souls takes place betweem Dark Souls universe and Bloodborne universe.

The nightmares were created in the first place because the Old One, the first great one, dreamed them into existence a la Azathoth. By lulling him into sleep at the end of Demon's Souls magic was lost and the dreamlands were allowed to keep existing (this is where the "Nightmares" and "Dreams" got their name from). Then we get to Bloodborne. We see the evience in Father Gascoine, who came fron a foreign land and mentions the "Umbas word, he probably came from Boletaria.

It is here that Chester is somehow pulled into the past into Dark Souls 1.

Aldrich saw all of this coming and could have potentially avoided the age of great ones or age of Deep Sea or become a Great One himself but we kill him in Dark Soul 3.

Gehrman was the first hunter, and even from his beginning the Doll was there, trying to get a hunter to consume the 3 fetuses so they could defeat the Moon Presence and become a Great Old One Infant themselves, this doesn't happen until your Hunter does it.
