3D models don't even work like that, even if they had those models they'd be useless for new KoF.
Sure, they could have used those models in cut scenes, but that would have required making lots of new models on that level of detail too. Expensive.

1.10 is all about graphics improvement. SNK has never said anything about adding new characters. They will add extra outfits though

Geese is dead on the Fatal Fury series, but is alive in KOF since it have a separate timeline. If it wasn't for that, character from AOF would be way older, for example.

Vice and Mature are a bit more complicate, but think of them more like ghosts now.

As for Krizalid, there's a chance he and a few other dead characters come back since in the ending of XIV, Verse brought them back to life.

I think almost all of the Orochi casts and all of those who are part of the cast from "those from the past" are not humans and just as you said, are similar to Sailor moon villains in they are humanoid but not truly humans. The fact that a lot of them possess supernatural powers really imply to that.
The sacred treasures team however are humans since Iori, Kyo and Chizuru kind of needs the sacred treasures to cast their powers.
Terry, Ryo and most of the cast of FF and AoF uses their immense will power to gather energy from Gaia herself(which kind of implies they are borrowing energies from the being whom Orochi sworn to protect) to power their projectile abilities which can be summed up of them not having innate supernatural powers, but have strong will power to use such energies.

This brings me to Leona, Leona as the lore had said lived with her parents when suddenly Goenitz(if I am correct) presence triggered her to massacre her village and her parents. Since she is born having said Orochi heritage(when Iori and Rugal who are just inheriting a curse) then does that mean Leona is not human herself and is 'humanoid" similar to Vice, Mature and the rest of the Orochi cast?

"Those from the past" as they all kind of imply, are not humans but a separate ancient race of humanoids just as you said, but what kind of race they are, well that I do not know.

Those from NEST however are super humans and artificially made life-forms, which kind of also tend to make them not really human in a sense, similar to how Space Marines are not really human at all, but that is just how I view it.

They'd have to win a major tournament that's a qualifier and there's no qualifier in europe. I think that the people who will end up being invited will be people who have won major tournaments that weren't qualifiers. There have been a few events hosted by SNK in Japan including a televised one I think that the Japanese players that SNK will invite are the winners of those.

They had major events that were tough as fuck some hosted by SNK themselves. If they chose the winners of those it wouldn't exactly be undeserved. There's also room for 4 international invitations they'll probably pick those who won big tournaments. The date is fast approaching and there isn't really any more room for more qualifiers. Admittedly this tournament is rushed as fuck, but I'd be fine if they chose winners of major events. The invitations remind me of how the in-game KoFs work, they invite people it's not like there's: win this tournament and qualify for KoF. Only thing that would piss me off is that if instead of winners of major tournaments they picked "famous members" of MUH FGC.

Its kind of a somewhat suprising Twist for a hero to suddenly go rogue and team up with her past partners because of either being bribed or some secret will be revealed. Either way King would mostly be working/teaming with Mr. Big most likely because she is forced too, not to mention that it will kind of acknowledge that the woman that Takuma has picked for his son do have her shady past compared to the King that we know(and many of the player of today does not).
