A good variety is helpful. One of the overhealers is not necessary.

You definitely need one enhance. One of the x2.7 leaders with just their awakenings max skilled is enough though.

Really only the REAL hardcore whales have 5* max skilled.

I have good and bad news for you. Good news: having 2 stars in the beginning isn't really that bad since pilots and weapons tend to be more important. Pilots get better just from grind and you can make weapons that are quite competitive to gacha ones The bad news? You will need to grind those too and the resource limit makes it somewhat of a slow burn.

i think you could get by with most rolls really since one super mech or weapon cant carry you at all. that said you dont want a fuckload of dupes. you want variety or synergy in the initial pulls.
ive actually got a bunch of 3 star mechs i dont use at all since im not going to run multiple tanks or scouts at the same time. its nice to have spares so if you takes heavy damage you swap it out while it gets repaired but its a convenience.

It's still worth it since 4*s are really hard to get and they are stronger. Good weapons are particularly helpful in the early game as well before you get strong enough to be able to farm materials for making/upgrading stock weapons. For instance it's hard to use a tank without having a good shield. That said, you might want to re-roll for a larger pool of 3* good mech./weapons instead of a single 4* one.

dont be afraid to use 1 star mechs. they are less resource intensive to rank up. also great for your expedition b and c team since fuel costs are lower.
feel like starlys better than most mobages since low rarity shit is situationally useful and not instant vendor trash.

This is the pinnacle of auto battles. You have to actually sit there and watch your monster girls grind through 20 times.

I'd just leave it auto grinding, and check back every 10 minutes hoping that I see a rare.

I don't play it anymore but it was fun for a few days.

I guess it really is a moot point to try the physical route until we get Macuri^, a higher level cap or whatever. I think her main issue is that she'll get stuck on a boss and end up not hitting anything else, like the asshole thundercunt being a dickwad nearby. And since her hits are spread out, they won't be very effective against high defense enemies.
She could find use where enemies keep spawning further and further away, like they had for summer test and some maps.

I kinda want to limit break her, put her and afterbath Mimi for HP girl link, then use Halloween Yuri for the 3rd. That's 20% 10% and 25% HP bonus. But even then, I didn't get Xmas Shiho, so would be a bit of a waste.

I've only seen the monkey evaporate from Sword Charlotte and the rare sighting of NY Vilfreet. Chunmei's thing is buffing the party too and being cute. Wish I rolled her, but I got Shion instead, who's very beautiful but the way she delivers lines is grating.

+200% vs phantom beasts on her own skills

It's weak to slash and transformed variant does slash, but I think most of her help will be from her fire damage.

Her skills do a lot of it, and she has a +100% fire damage autoskill. And her motif has +100% fire damage too, if you give her that.

Stack all that on top of a nice town bonus, and she should be getting a decent amount of damage off on him.

Should be easily possible to get Clara and Echo in their base form. Echo might as well not be mentioned until you can unlock her 3rd job or even recode. Most of them are useless and can be sold for karma, but some of them are used even in late game teams, like Ayame (the dark kunoichi) or Chiharu (the red dancer girl). I don't understand the Halloween reprint. It was the only one they did, only old event they reran, giving us only 1 gem stories and 2 gem battles. Didn't redo last year maid or Christmas events.
Halloween Kokomi was in her birthday, and they had her NY, but didn't include either onsen card which were both really good skills if I remember correctly. Then we got the Halloween reprint. They stopped including maids in birthday gacha because we figured the next maid set was coming up, but then why did they include Halloween cards if Halloween was coming up? Make sure you try and capture the first point and use your ultimate once or twice. If you have a friendly Lirica, stick around her to generate it faster.

Buff yourself with any damage boosts or shield and then use your stick teleport onto whoever is most vulnerable. If they run away then just spam it, it has a low casting time, pierces enemies and interrupts skills

2. Make highest ingredient red potion and buff it up with a bunch of ingredients at level 1.

The fairies awarded by the event quests are the best event fairies in the game though so make sure you have adventurers on them 24/7 or at least as well as you can manage. Prioritize sending adventurers out on event quests over completing their requests.

You can worry about the normal progression whenever, but there's no real rhyme or reason to when specific fairies roll back around. Also feel free to abandon non-adventurer requests. They're pretty much pointless and the affection reward they give for the effort is nowhere near worth it.

Also, if you're good at the bag game, you can get random non-event fairies by hitting 20 bounces. They go up to the level 10 quest Poong fairies, but I've no idea if that's for everybody or just people with those quests available. It rewards the potion protectors and enhancers too so you don't have to worry about getting them from adventurers for now.

I also slacked off a bit for the second half, and a bit more after I got Suzu. Gotta keep it up for the whole event this time.

I just unlocked Clara in terra battle, I think she could potentially be a big asset to my team but I see the event is only here for another 2 weeks or so and I don't know exactly how it all works so I'm not sure if I could get enough out of it (since my team is probably not strong enough to do everything). How difficult would it be to get my team strong enough to a level/state where I could get her to a pretty strong level to put on my team? I don't have a spear user and could really use one to round out my team since I have 3 mages and 2 bow users and no spears.

With that lineup you should be able to clear at least the paths to get Clara's job unlock items. Obviously, the higher level the better, but at minimum you want Bahl to get 65 on jobs 2 & 3 to unlock Attack x1.5 & Terasword, and S'naip to get at least 65 on jobs 2 & 3 for Attack x1.5 and Terabow, as well as 65 on job 1 for Tail Spin if you can. They'll do most of the heavy lifting, with additional assistance coming from Daiana and Grace. I don't know if Bonna's petrify or paralyze will work, but even if they don't her healing will be a help, since Amimari doesn't have Heal All.

Enemies on Path B to get Bloody Coat of Arms for Clara's job 2 are only in the 40's, while in Path C for Job 3's Radiant Glory they're in the 60's. You should be able to do both before the event ends. Once you have all three jobs unlocked, I'd recommend you farm SB on Clara to at least get her to 100% once you recode her later on. I don't know if Clara^ is staying in the Pact of Truth once VH ends, but with the faster energy regenration and the relative ease there's not much reason not to 100% her SB. It's likely that VH will return again in the future, and since it's not a collab it would likely not be too much of a wait, so you'll be able to get regular Clara back the next go around.
