Camping out an area is only fun for so long. Similar to Dark Souls invasions, it's just not fun because everyone you gank are disgusting PvErs that hate PvP and play really poorly. I raid on mythic in legion which has been challenging, the timed dungeon runs with different levels of difficulty for raid gear is also a great idea.

They didn't change cores, they just incorperated source code from within nostalrius into their existing core, hence the new and old bugs. What they'll do is just pretend they've actually "switched", but instead they're just going to continue what they've been doing - merging more patches from nost into valkryie core and call it a new name when it's "done in a week or so".

They weren't using the core to begin with retards. This explains everything.

Nostalrius and Elysium made their announcements. Then suddenly after over a year of Blizzard ghosting nostalrius despite Nostalrius working on battle.net integration out of their own pockets Blizzbulls contacted them again telling them to shut that shit down and not to release their source code to anyone.

So a few days later Nost tells elysium they won't be giving them shit. Not the code for the server and especially not the anti-cheat. Elysium figures their core is close enough to nost to get away with ""tricking"" people since most people never played vanilla on private servers let alone paid enough attention to notice the differences in bugs since there were a lot on Nostalrius as well.

So Elysium devs lie to get as many donations as possible before Nost finally admits that they won't be giving anyone shit because their overlords at Blizzard are still dangling jobs in front of them and baiting them into fucking over the very people that threw money at their project in the first place.

Now with Elysium stabling out and things calming down Nostalrius realised people would be asking questions about when the rest of the "community" is going to have access to the core, so they decided to rip the band-aid off today.

We were literally baited into playing Valkyrie. I can not fucking believe we left Kronos for this shit. What a fucking joke.

What actually happened was the slavs jumped on the opportunity to start patching their shit with a better core (the nostalrius source code). They got around half way done and said fuck it let's open the floodgates. ShaguDB can show them on the full map, Cartographer's Mining/Herbalism extension show them on minimap/full provided you have data for it (I believe RisenUI comes with both of those extensions, pre-loaded with data) and last of all there is in fact downloadable data to import into Gatherer, which, while not totally accurate does give a more-than-acceptable idea of where to get herbs.
