The tank's main gun fires, Mirai fires something at the giant bullet flying towards her head at supersonic speed, it explodes right in front of the tank, and she shields herself from the blast with her parasol.

Anyway, shinobi are basically superhuman. You can tell me the opening video isn't canon and is exaggerating their skills, but if even students training to be shinobi at Hebijo can hold their breath for days, so I don't think anything is out of the question.

Ignoring the library for a second, the switch seriously looks like a joke.

The console itself is overpriced, and the accessories hilariously so. There's yet again no ethernet port so dust off that ethernet adapter (assuming it'll even be supported) and they're deliberately not supporting external storage devices because they don't want to reduce portability. 32gb of internal storage won't be enough (game sizes won't be smaller to accommodate this issue, just like they weren't on the WiiU) and Micro SD cards of a size that would actually be useful in storing games are too expensive, but they're your only option.
The joycon Dpad is terrible and you'll need to buy an overpriced pro controller if you ever plan on playing a game with dpad movement without shredding your thumb (All "4 button style" dpads are terrible, I've used them on retarded 3rd party controllers before and the switch won't be an exception).
The battery life managed to be worse than the god damn vita, and unlike the WiiU gamepad you won't be able to at replace it with a better one later on.
Its online platform will be just as bad as the current nintendo systems are best or a complete clusterfuck at worst considering that half of the features you would normally expect out of an online platform will be relegated to your phone. And you're going to have to pay for it too. Nintendo is bandwagoning onto the paid online format but isn't even coming close to offering a competent service.
Its monthly free games is a complete joke that manages to make Games with Gold look like an enticing service.

I could honestly look past its hardware issues (when/if I get it it's just going to stay docked forever) but the online is the straw that broke the camels back. Considering the overwhelmingly negative reception to it I'm seeing everywhere, I'm hoping nintendo backs down and removes the online fee. They probably won't but they should.

There's no sense in crowding up your wifi when you're placing something near a router that should be able to support ethernet. The tablet itself shouldn't have ethernet, they have a stronger excuse than they did with the Wii and WiiU and I'm fine with that, but the dock absolutely should. My main concern is whether or not the dock will even support an ethernet adapter though.
Also Internet was absolutely not fine on the 3DS. Its wifi chip is garbage and it downloads content slower than snailmail.

In a modern 3d game that holds true but the dpad is often preferable for 2D games, which nintendo always has offered in huge supply thanks to VC. I specified that the dpad will be terrible for games where dpad movement is preferable.

Only because you can't dash'n'mash with her in EV since her recovery animations are retardedly long. Remember that you can cancel the startup and recovery frames of your Weak attacks with dash or guard and that your dash attack can cancel into itself infinitely. You have to follow up whenever you press Heavy by going into Aerial Rave or by cancelling into Shinobi Transformation or into a Ninja Art. She has one of the best Weak Ninja Arts in the game, so learn to abuse it.

She's one of the best characters to use in Hard Mode since Frantic Yo hits like a truck and has insane meter gain, but she's outclassed by characters like Rin, Renka, and Yagyuu, who have longer ranges, faster attack speed, and just as good Ninja Arts.

PS4 regularly goes under 300, is a stronger piece of hardware, and comes with an already established and generally more complete third party support (both in terms of weeb games and otherwise). So yes, it's certainly a better offer.
XBone is harder to recommend when Microsoft is more or less making it commit a prolonged sudoku.

I'm not saying the Switch is shit, but if you buy it right now, you're buying nothing but promises. The actually interesting titles will take their sweet-ass time to come out (the exception being Zelda), and by then the hardware will be cheaper, or have gone through revisions, or both.

I'm personally buying it just so I can have it on firmware 1.0 for piracy purposes. I did the exact same thing with the 3DS, and for lo and behold, the 4.5 firmware exploit with Gateway came out. Everyone else who didn't get a 1.0 3DS was buttfucked for a whole 2 years until CFW on 9.2 came out (which even then was shoddy and had horrible compatibility for months to come).

PS4 also has a terrible lack of games that are 100% exclusive to it. The vast bulk of its library can be played on a $20 PSTV (Senran, Atelier, Disgaea, etc). I do agree about the poor Xbox though.
