if you cached the game 60 times per second, it uses up a dickload of data, and you need to restrict how many parameters you're saving per object if its going into an array in any sensible format. Then even when timestamps are saved, you need to create an event logger that reads all strings in forwards and reverse so that state changes can be undone, new objects can be destroyed in reverse, destroyed objects are recreated in reverse. And you need to test every corner case so you're not trying to push data into the wrong object index or whatnot

Could work, but for the same reason. If you smoke and gank, and find their hard carry farming the jungle, as soon as you show 2 or more heroes, they're just going to reset time and next minute your back on your side of the map and their carry got off scott free.

It could maybe work if it only affected your team mate. So if you're carry was fucking dicking around in your jungle, and he gets smoked gank, you can move his position back 30 seconds, but the enemy team stays where they are. And it would have to be a super long cooldown.
