the problem is just that dynamic spawn is applied in some areas where it's needed, some where it's not, and some mobs desperately need it period. quest elites are the most jarring example. the caged panther in thousand needles has a 10 minute respawn time. i sat there for 30 minutes while i did online work and failed to tag it with a full group all 3 times. obviously i should have just grinded but the late 20s/early 30s are so full of fucking grinding i want to kill myself, it's better in the late 40s/50s when the end is in sight

I have only seen noticeably increased spawn rates in starter zones and at the harpies in barrens, literally nowhere else. Mobs taking 5+ mins to spawn is the norm and a fuckload of quests have you kill 15+ of those mobs and they're camped by a ton of fucking people with instant damage that I don't have. You can't even grind because half of the people who gave up on quests are also camping grinding spots too. Double spawn rates or implement some way to level up in BGs for the love of fuck

this is totally anecdotal but it feels like outside of the starting areas that dynamic respawn is almost always in caves. i don't know whether it's an automatic or manual thing but it feels so random. the harpy cave in thousand needles isn't particular popular, it's there for a quest but the quest is so much more aggravating because it has dynamic respawn.

i'm glad that one of my prime farming spots in the mid-20s was untouched since it has no quests associated with it, but once you're around 30 you're running out of quests, thousand needles is spread out shit, hillsbrad is cramped and PvP central along with STV, it's shit. jame's (((leveling))) guide literally tells you to hand in 2 quests and that "you should be about halfway to 32 after this now just grind", i'm starting to think it was written during BC

The problem is vanilla leveling really was a lot of fun, but it was fun on servers with 25% the population and everyone being spread out. You still saw people while leveling, but not 20 people on the same quest as you all sitting on mob spawns spamming tag macros. The social aspect is the strongest reason to play WoW and always has been its star on top of the tree.

Is there anything that actually ends up selling? Or do I really need to fish for that kind of stuff? REALLY fucking hate fishing and while leveling makes me feel like I'm wasting even more time than I already am in my horrible life.

I made the mistake of going with this build in hopes of AoE farming and now I've realized that imp nova is rather useless in comparison to imp frostbolt. I just hit 20 and I haven't put any talents in the 3rd tier yet. they'd only merge if the peak goes below 1000 but there will be too many autists and chinks who will keep the peak around 1500-2000 (see PVE server)

Aren't you only supposed to put 2 points in improved blizzard for AOE farming? It might just be that way for a later expansion but I remember if you put 3 points into it, it would override a different slow and cause some mobs to walk faster than others.

imp nova isnt useful by itself, but shatter is, and you need it. Aoe farm is impossible in a full server. imp frostbolt is a 5/5. Frostbite and shards are also great.
