Literally all of its Supers and Ultras were utter shit, even at the time of release.
All of its good cards were all Commons and Rares.
Even among the Rares, only 3 were any good, and it took ages for them to become meta relevant.
The only noteworthy cards from the set at the time were Snipe Hunter and Chain Burn. Fucking commons.
It introduced mechanics that ended up being utter shit, somehow made LV monsters even shittier, trash versions of good cards, and in general was just throwing money away.

The only other set to beat it out in being utter trash is The Lost Millennium, which is surprise surprise, another GX card set.

And i dunno, DW's were never a problem, at least for me because back in their prime time, i ran fableds who were INDIGNATION INCARNATE back when brionac wasn't banned, oh and fableds could trigger their effects out of costs which made them slightly better than DW's in my eyes.
