My favorite in the game is the quest in Undercity, in the Apothecarium. There's this Tauren female lady who has a rare, unknown disease and she made a pilgrimage to the Undercity to see if their alchemists could find out what it is and cure her, Since all of the Taurens were stumped by it.
They send you on a series of quests to "cure" her all the while knowing she's going to die but they don't tell her.
That quest hit me right in the feels. Poor girl.

Yes, Soul Link is a gear-intensive build. You can't go soul link in pvp with pre-raid bis.You need a lot of HP and decent amount of shadow damage to make it overpowered.

No, you don't need the nemesis 5 piece bonus. That extra spell resist only applies to your Pet, not you. And felhunter already has a shitload of spell resist without the nemesis set.

Was anyone as hunter going something different than this? I built this with idea of heavy pvp while leveling. You take the BM talents first, then MM, ending with SV talents. I was debating wither or not to get 5/5 imp conc after BM talents, then build into SV talents for extra early CC from WC-traps, then back into MM for AS. I only debate this due to aim shot cast time, dead zones, and server lag might not make AS very viable. You also tend to want faster range weps going BM, since you want to proc AotH more often, while not doing too big of burst dmg to pull aggro off pet.

I don't like your build form a glance. You go for outright damage, without any survival in PvP. This is more a low end PvE build from what I can see, or a meme melee hunter. Your build is absolutely dead in the water vs any casters.Also some talents just don't work better than others, like monkey over hawk, and not getting 2/2 path finding for pre 40 mount speed. The goal of mine was to level asap, while having heavy support for PvP encounters.

You'll destroy warriors, rogues, and shaman with a survival build while leveling, I have first hand experience. Hunters already have an advantage vs casters so you dont really need to spec for it. World pvp is mostly getting cucked by rogues and druids, so it is nice to be able to cuck them back.

i also dont really get what would happen when a server reaches the end of the expansion. people would want them to roll onto the next expansion and the next, and at the same time there would be people who want to play on a fresh server.
blizz would basically have to run multiple versions of their game parallel to each other for each expansion even if they did use a 'seasons' type setup.
this seems like it would cost a lot of money, there arent exactly millions of people waiting for this to happen, and activision shareholders would probably say no.
