I find the Ignis to be extremely ammo-hungry, especially since it's more useful for procs than outright damage. This being said, Carrier is effectively a free Ammo Mutation these days so you might get away with dropping it.

Try it and see what works for you but personally I'd be dropping Vile Acceleration.

Ah, Nyx. Yeah, you definitely want either a range/duration build for Chaos spam, or to get the Assimilate augment for Absorb and build for duration and efficiency.

Hek is basically a sniping weapon too, you don't need to get close with that. It's very accurate, does a ton of damage, and doesn't have fall-off. With other shotguns those can be an issue but not the Hek.

considering the fact that dual swords attack faster than other weapon types i think its safe to assume that other weapons will be outclassed by dual swords, not the other way around. dual swords can stack status faster, and if you have 3 prominent stats on your weapon (eg. dual cleavers with slash, corrosive and cold) you are going to probably inflict multiple different status types before you kill the enemy, meaning they scale a bit better (with the caveat that they experience a minor fall off between level 70-90, due to enemies dying too quickly to be affected by all the status types, but then start scaling again afterwards)
