Dominions is a fantasy turn-based war game created by two dudes. One of them is a teacher.

The game combines a simple presentation with an extremely wide array of strategic options, including over 2800 units, 800 spells and 300 magic items. Turns are resolved simultaneously, with players planning battles rather than directly controlling them.

It has simplistic graphics but is easily moddable and extremely deep.

Basically, it's an autist’s wet dream of a war game.

No, the following nations can get away without an awake, and likely wouldn't even want one:
TNN
Niefelheim
Pangaea
Vanheim
TC
ALL UW Nations
Abysia
Helheim

For the other nations not taking an awake basically comes down to hoping no one looks in your direction for the first 12 turns or so.
>>
>>165209885
Why TNN? I can see most of the others (even if some UW nations are either mediocre or die to the better ones), but... TNN?
>>
>>165209885

Better be running a doublebless then, because you can pretty your pretty elven panties that Fomoria's got an awake.

UW nations are on the list because they have FAR more provinces between them. Nearly 20, instead of barely 13 (which means UW nations get OFF the land reeeeeeeee)

TNN is on the list since ime N9E4 sacreds had little issue surviving long enough to kill the awake.

Your group score: 7.1 of 10 (above average).

huh. that is fairly accurate. I tend to really screw up my talking and even my hand writing.

Actually, the pdf's individual trait scores seem to represent my quirks in a fairly accurate way. I always suspected I had one of the dys* diagnoses.

Oh and if Mictlan is here I'd like to discuss trade either in the thread or on steam; it's like 4 turns to set up a deal using in game chat

What gems are you after man? I can trade every kind other than Nature in some quantity; Blood Slaves I dont have because hunting has been inconvenient up until now.

Also super interested in trading for Dwarven Hammers if anyone has them.

It's literally only retarded in 4 cases: Mictlan/Xibalba . . . I'm honestly happy to see those 2 nations suffer desu.
Therados' close location, which was caused by them being added as a nation while the map was still in progress.
R'lyeh/Atlantis - the unfortunate implication that R'lyeh only really borders Atlantis UW, and will be coming for them.
Fomoria's sailing. Vanheim isn't on the coast for a reason, Berytos can't sail to anywhere too dangerous, but Fomoria can reach I think 2 or 3 capitals from their own.
>>
>>165214115
Eh, nah.
Ulm and Caelum represent the #1 and #2 nations and Caelum has set Ulm against him by calling for people to jump to action (and then getting a lack of response); even if it's not a war yet so there's very much a cold war vibe where if either is the aggressor against another major nation the other will likely jump in against them

I am sitting probably in seat #3 or #4 with the rest of my 3-6 peers (and sometimes Abysia too!) having to focus on their borders with Ulm/Caelum as long as I remain Neutral.

Now is the perfect time for nationalist shit talking.
>>
>>165215369

Combine this with the hangman's throne of 3 assassinations per turn, the throne of infinite 'bully' attacks, the throne of studying's inspiring researcher 10 'librarian', and what we have is a bad fucking mod. Use shield+spear for blockers, and glaive for killing targets which will ignore 13 damage spears.

Spear guys want a lot of killing power in other parts of your army (mages, archers, flanking elites) to make up for their poor offense. Glaives need less help killing things, but can end up dying too fast.

Get light armor for shield guys (they have a great shield, don't really need the protection) and heavy armor for glaives if you have the resources (protection is their main defense, so they need a lot)

If you're not sure which is best for your situation, get spear+shield guys and back them up with lots of archers and mages.

Maenads are women who were attracted to Pangaea specifically because they want to be fucking at any given hour

Minotaur women dont exist. Minotaurs fuck cows and human women; both give birth to more minotaurs.

Also the vast majority of Centaurs are cuckolded by either the white centaurs or Panii; 18 inch dicks dont mean shit when most of them only last a minute or two

Dryads (both kinds) just kinda keep to themselves and only fug when they want to though. Also mostly SS femdom. They gotta keep this shitshow running so they dont have time to engage in the perpetual orgies. Just harems of humans on demand.

Pan's cap only units are just their white centaurs, which are like their elite soldiers rather than leaders. The Panii themselves are canonically kinda hermetical - "They are enigmatic and are the most reclusive of Pangaea's inhabitants, living in remote groves and avoiding contact with other beings."

Meanwhile, the dryads are listed as explicitly being "revered by all the wild beings of Pangaea." In LA, they lose their authority to the emergent centaur nobility, but in EA and MA they're the secular and religious leaders of the nation.

considering tactical combat without taking magic into effect is "hold for two turns or attack immediately" and "where do you want your guys to aim" dominions without magic would be the most boring thing possible
>>
>>165285116
Depends on the nation. I'd say magic is 50% of the game. I mean you have stuff like Ermor where you need magic to even summon your grunts, and stuff like Ulm whose use of magic generally centers around iron blizzard and RoS. Not to mention that in the first year you barely get to use any magic, and for some nations with super fucking nails in dick expensive mages like Helheim it starts on 2.

And no one said anything about "no monsters".
>>
>>165284645
>>165285016
>>165285116
It's kind of sad we don't see much in the way of heroes slaying monsters through some combination of skill of arms, clever trickery, divine favor and powerful artifacts, though. That's an important part of many myths. But I guess the scale of the game precludes much in the way of individual engagements.

>dominions without magic would be the most boring thing possible

Nigger I didn't say anything about removing magic from other player's arsenal. I only talked about adding MORE options to someone's arsenal, an option that consists of sacrificing one thing for another.

>considering tactical combat without taking magic into effect is "hold for two turns or attack immediately" and "where do you want your guys to aim"

Hence why I talked about Dominions 5, because this sort of thing can be improved. And there's a lot more other things to take into consideration, like cavalries charging, flyers being flyers, tramplers and re-routing, it's just that late-game all of these stop having any significance because people just cast Fog Warriors and RoS turn 1.

Also seen some people here talk about tile-type (swamp, mountain, wasteland, etc.) affecting the actual battle and shit, that would also be interesting to see.
>>
>>165286042
When you get to a point where people can make it rain acid over the entire battlefield or summon lords of hell tactics start to become less important.

Since you can get fucked over by RNG and having no magic sites on the land you own, why not something like a magic site you "construct" to increase the resources or gold or something of a given province? Or something like industrializing the land?

The disadvantage would be that it disables all gem-generating magic sites on that province. (Technology harming the spirits/nature and all that.) This way the player can choose between magic site or an expensive industrialization, thus giving an alternative to those with no gem-income.

Of course a typical dominions solution would be "got no gem on your lands? Just take your neighbors' !" But after spending so many turns site-searching everywhere and getting nothing, while your neighbor found several, he'd have an advantage over you.

Sorry, but you didn't disprove the win rate thesis, and greentexting everything will sure let you win all Internet fights.

Win rates are the objective measure of nation being low or high-tier. It doesn't matter if you consider MA Ermor weak when it wins whooping 25% of all games it's in.

Oh, and yeah, I miscounted. Sceleria has 12% more win rate than Jotunheim. Nerd.
>>
>>165311479
Jotunheim has lower skill entry level so new players play it poorly and get dunked on
Sceleria gets skipped by new players
>>
>>165311846
then I guess the nerfs to theordoros were justifed by illfraud, after all those 4 wins totally proved they were a high tier weapon that was just out of control right?
>>
>>165311869
This is a reasonable assumption, but that alone won't explain a 12% disparity.

>>165311965
Stop strawmanning like a high-schooler. Therodos has a pretty average win rate, and we have 36 games with them in spreadsheet (we have around 60 with both Jotun and Sceleria). And don't expect Illfraud to EVER make any changes to nations based on objective factors. They nerfed Machaka, for fuck's sake.
>>
>>165312169
Isn't Sceleria also less likely to provoke a gang-bang while being better at dealing with them if it does?

>>

Maybe.

>>
>>165311869
How does Jotun have a lower skill entry level?
There's quite a lot of different options and magic paths to pursue, and some of the best strategies like werewolf communions batteries seem counter intuitive at first.
I feel like sceleria is also simple enough to play that even new players can play it well.

of course it is, all you have to do is take a tri bless and rush the enemy in the 1st year, as long as you took B9 no one really has answer to that
>>
>>165315556
And if you have any death magic at all you're sorted.

So what you've determined is that MA Ermor is strong both in duels, and in all other types of games, and is therefore a strong nation.

>>
>>165315921

Are the "Healer" sites bugged at the moment or something? I've had a couple afflicted commanders camped out on a Healing Spring for a couple turns now, and they're still as afflicted as they were when they got there.
>>
>>165329636
It could be old age or bad healing rolls.
>>
>>165329762

They aren't old aged (or undead).

I've specifically kept the province clear of random chaff and junk so it should only be trying to heal the commanders I need fixed as well. The value's "I'll attempt to fix X number of afflictions per turn", right?

I looked into it a bit more.

The Chalice has an attribute called healer while your site has an attribute called healing. If I had to guess, the difference between the two is that healer makes X healing checks while healing makes a healing check for X percent of the units stationed in the province. So you're probably getting a healing check on 1 of your commanders at a time and that's why it's taking so long.

Have any afflictions been healed at all?

>>
>>165332771

Intimidation and misdirection. You can do things like put some of them and a few sacreds in a fort and make it seem like all your dudes are in one place when they are stealthing into enemy lands. Or, more often - simply make someone decide not to attack you. People are often like the AI, they see 150 wot5e sitting around doing nothing and they go 'no thank you sir'. You can also quickswitch them through labs to make someone with a proper scout network be like 'holy fuck that guy just gated'.

We're all waiting on you
>>
>>165344241
Our people will respect all established borders and our axes will never be raised against another nation offensively. We will only defend what is ours and our interest. The cowardly birdmen of Caelum have showed that they are actively working towards the instability of our peaceful region. All civilized nations should take heed since it was evident that the weakly birdmen seek to use others for their own means, which was showed in their attempt to drag others into our righteous crusade against Abysia. Now that their plans have failed they will undoubtedly try to destroy our peaceful relations with the honorable people of Ermor, Oceania,Niefelheim and Mictlan, as our closest neighbors. We will not tolerate any of this. Therefore we guarantee the people of Ermor, Oceania,Niefelheim and Mictlan our full military support in any action that the Birdmen may take against your great and honorable empires.

Hey, I've got no designs on anymore land. I was asking Niefelheim to jump you for two reasons: 1) Marverni had asked me for aid, and I promised it, but I didn't want to attack Niefelheim which at that point was pretty small and deny him experience in what was (and still is) a noob game. Which is why I was trying to convince him to let Marverni live for a few more turns, but...well
2) You were the largest nation at that point, it made sense to fairy redistribute land from the larger nations to the smaller ones. I was full willing to let Marverni have some of my provinces, but the ice giants cut him off.

I've got good relations with my neighbours, and this is my first time playing an air heavy nation so I want to see what options are available to me and how best to use them. I'm currently the second smallest nation too, so I'm hardly a huge threat. Just look at my gem income! I've got a fukken rainbow of searching going on, but nearly no gems.
>>
>>165346190

>>
>>165346190
you may be the "2nd smallest" but you still have the best income in the game and the highest army value compared to everyone else, and the best research
>>
>>165346190
Don't let the bird creaking discourage you. Any military action against the cowardly and scheming birds will be wholly supported by Ulmish forces. We share no direct border but we will support by all means necessary. Birdmen, your past actions have showed that you have direct interest in destabilizing our region.
>>
>>165346472
I'm still really sorry about not helping you more. If you asked the thread about how to design your pretender just before the game started, then I helped you with that anonymously at that point at least.
>>165346652
I've got like 2 more farms than other people because of my start position. More mages and more research doesn't mean anything if I can't actually do anything with them. I mean, yeah, woo I can cast Storm and then spam thunderstrike. All someone has to do is invest in lightning resistance and wham, countered. I can raid with spire horns, yeah, but they fold like paper to actual troops and I need commanders to move them. Which means less mages. Which means I become even less threatening.
>>165346803
No, I have a direct interest in facilitating a fun learning experience for everyone in the game. Abysia's got some good experience out of this, and has also hopefully learned how to diplo a little better. If I wanted to jump you, I would have done it the same turn Abysia pushed you off his cap.

Caelum is horrifyingly scary to fight. The raiding alone can destroy an economy, and fog warriors + lance birds destroys many armies, especially in the noob-heavy domg environment. Air isn't tstrikes, it's phantasmal armies, air elementals, fog warriors, even weirder stuff like Confusion or Corpse Constructs. Besides, you've got Death, Earth from harabs, and water/earth from eagle kings. Rain of Stones access from harabs. Faint fire access from seraphines. Mammoths you can turn into fog, send berserk with indies, and then make fly. Tempests/Iceclad for melee work, with appropriate buffs, extremely cheap flying A2 to put about a hundred thunderstrikers anywhere you need them, eagle kings have no problem teleporting in to drop Living Air on some poor thug.

And the national uniques give heavy access to the paths your level 1's have already found gems in, which enables further buffs/battlemagic, much of it in paths you've already researched. Presuming you built your god to do so, that you'd have to be mad not to.
>>

I forgot to mention - Caelum also has access to Ancestral Fravashi, who are flying trapezing h3s, making them along with Ragha able to execute cross-map throne grabs with their flying armies, or trapezing thug-mages with gate cleavers/wall shakers (both of which they have the paths for), able to go from zero thrones to 'have won' in about two turns.

The common consensus is that you get into a multiplayer game, get wrecked and assume what your opponent used last time is a good thing and try it yourself next time only to be wrecked again.

Of course this has led to the current stabilized meta of scrub-circles dominated by the few people autistic enough to understand the game or capable of diplomancing their way to victory.

Remembering the names Phoenix Power + Fireball, Horde of Skeletons, Leech, Mass Flight, Marble Warriors, Mass Protection, Fog Warriors, Flaming Arrows, Stellar Cascades, Earthquake, Rain of Stones and Frozen Heart is a good start.
>>
>>165350427

That's a lie. You don't need to memorise the complete spelllist or anything, just know how to look up details when you're wondering about stuff.

The mod inspector in the OP is super useful for this. Say you're playing Pangaea and are about to have a fight, most of your shit is Nature, so you can go to the inspector and filter by Nature magic, and combat spells, and the schools you've got good research in. Makes the list of stuff to look at a lot less daunting.

Then you just do that for whatever you need to check when you need to check shit. After a while you start to remember what's good.

Prepare your anus. The things you use to defeat the AI will lead players to kill you about twice as hard.

Most of the guides were on desura but desura died. Then the archive someone made of it died. Some of them are on Steam now. A lot of the guides are fucking useless.

I recommend Basic Magic, Blood Magic a Primer and Guide to Llamaserver, in terms of 'generic guides'. Nation guides are either good advice, unreadable trash, or good advice wrapped in bad advice and unreadable trash.

Also get on the Discord server. https ://discord.

Elephants aren't autowin, but you can use them to get a very good start, and with some effort they can be pretty winny. The trick is mostly applying buffs. They're pretty easy to counter otherwise, because of the low MR/Morale.
>>
>>165351484
Mass Elephants is still good for indie clearing; PD clearing and against specific nations; but it only takes level 1 research in Thaumaturgy for a death 1 mage to cast frighten and make them stampede your own ranks
Trample is still good; you just dont want them turning around on your ass with low effort

>>
>>165351996
>>165351862

There are also tricks in countering the counters. In that case, you can get around Frighten spam by setting your elephants to Guard Commander, and having a couple Nature mages next to the commander spam Rage of the Cornered Rat.

Berserk elephants do not give a single shit about Frighten spam.

There's one thing I haven't been able to figure out. What is the benefit of LA Marignon over Ulm? They're both blood nations with similar base units. I think I know why you'd choose Ulm -- that armour shit and probably better magic in certain areas -- but what's Mari's better point? Is it really just the sailing thing?
>>
>>165354937

LA Ulm is mostly astral, with a sideline in blood, and vampire counts. They foreignrec mages and use stealthy crossbows + vampires to turn their lands into a pit of awful.

Mari has massive blood from every mage and lots of F as well. They have very little or no S. They also have fallen angel thugs, instead of vampires. The nations play extremely differently.

People always tend to view stuff with too much poltics these days. Make a fantasy setting based on European culture(standard and fairly boring) and you get accused of racism or whitewashing history.

I wouldn't complain about a lack of white characters if you made an Arabian Nights fantasy with a lot of middle easterns and black people. Sadly there are too much push from Americans to push in a contemporary world view into settings these days, instead of letting them be works of fiction on their own.

What's the point of low-level summons like imps? They don't seem cheaper than normal units. Are there usually spells which can buff them a lot, more than normally recruited dudes?
>>
>>165365321

.. you spend a few blood slaves and get a totally disposable flying 2 attack small size fire resistant dickhead to go mess with the enemy? Slow them up, while your actual plan goes into gear? Or even overwhelm them with imps and just imp them to death?
>>
>>165365321
Most low level summons are just there so that you can turn gems into something useful early on if you need it
Imps can be fairly useful since they actually take buffs fairly well and they're pretty cheap to get lots of them out (with the in combat summon spell)
>>
>>165365571
Yeah. Why do that instead of just recruiting? They're not any more disposable than any other unit. Is flying a deal-maker?

Also: given the high fatigue cost of blood spells, are your mages pretty much expected to just pop a reinvigorate every turn?
>>165365890
So not so much an investment for future plans, more a protective barrier/stopgap while you wait for those future plans to come into effect?
>>
>>165366067

Different constraints. Recruitment is constrained by resources and gold, summoning is constrained by mage turns and gems.

If you need a LOT of dudes very quickly, then you'll wanna use both, i.e., if you're getting rushed.
>>
>>165366067
>Also: given the high fatigue cost of blood spells, are your mages pretty much expected to just pop a reinvigorate every turn?
Oh, wait, sabbaths.
>>
>>165366067

>is the ability to instantly teleport into the enemy a deal-maker

Yeah it kinda is. Your enemy, when they aren't shit, should be doing stuff. Flanking you, shooting crossbows at you, shooting spells at you. You need time to do your stuff before the Vans arrive. So you use Imps.

>reinvigoration

Generally if you're doing more than providing 'cover' for your troops' advance, you'll be providing imps from a sabbath. That sabbath will be reinvigorating itself. If you're just providing cover you just have the mages toss off two imp spells each. You can absolutely drown an enemy formation in imps, giving your actual troops an advantage as the enemy wastes fatigue and attacks on imps who often dodge, and who start to drag them down through sheer weight of claws attacks (2 per imp).

Caelum's place in all this is casting Storm so imps toddle around on the ground being useless. Or being shredded by hundreds of tiny imp claws, because burds hate tiny attackers with 2 attacks each.

And nope. I'll spam imps any time i'm fighting and have blood mages I want to fight and they don't have leech yet. Imps are great. You don't have a vanjarl casting imps, cause he can tstrike/air elemental/thug, but mict priests and stuff? They imp like no tomorrow.

What a pitched battle it was!
Rain, Darkness, Grip of Winter, and Firestorm all at once!
I give praise to that one Talmai Elder who nearly defeated me! Holding aloft a burning skull, he sang the lore of Sheshai, causing a great conflagration to consume the field.
Though the foresight of some of the Bacabs saved many of the Wo' Muuch and the Chak Muuch by weaving a spell of fire protection, but alas many of the Wayob and Ah Itz fell to the flames. Even the Balam of the West fell, bringing down his enchantment of true darkness. The Ah Itz never did stop bringing forth a tide of undead, and the Wayob trapped many a Anakite in a storm of thorns.

This makes no sense to me in the context of a dominions game. There is a story, it's the game you're all playing. That (to me) is what should be rp'd: the interactions between nations. There is a massive amount of room for all the fluff you want there and as a bonus it's less masturbatory and empty because it's a group storytelling experience.

But in the start it is just opening statements and reactions to these opening statements, then you start reacting to what happens in game and building a story out of it, is this wrong?

It's definitely wrong if your opening statement is like multiple messages full of poorly written paragraphs that say nothing of substance, and then your reaction takes four entire fucking messages just to tell a bunch of nations individually "we cool".

I'm sorry my Diplo took 4 messages and bothered you oh so much but I'm a diplo heavy player playing an ancient nation of Jewish giants who consorted with celestial angels and created demi-god giants. Hinnom is nothing if not Glamorious and boisterous after all.

If your Idea of "good RP" is keeping commentary to short retorts in responses to other nations then why did you join a game specifically named Autistic RP?

Anyway it's not like I"m going to be doing another 4 message size send out anyway, it's just there to establish the general trend I will be taking the nation

text from Ba'al:

>"living lives of luxury and splendor, they lead their kin in the absence of the Nephilim. "
text from Azazel:

>"Azazel taught the Avvim how to make war, how to make weapons and how to make and use cosmetics"

text from Adon:
>The Anakim adorn themselves with jewelry and practice the cosmetic arts taught by the Watchers. Being a king, the Adon drapes himself in enchanted necklaces, rings and bracelets.

Yes the quality of writing might be bad and I accept that, but please if you read the lore of the giant nations instead of taking a passing glance and assuming you are the master of lore then maybe I be more willing to accept criticism

>if you read the lore of the giant nations instead of taking a passing glance and assuming you are the master of lore then maybe I be more willing to accept criticism

>>165402909
>>165402940
>glamorous
>An attractive or exciting quality that makes certain people or things seem appealing
Being covered in makeup and jewels is the case for many glamorous entities, but it is not all of being glamorous. The fact that they are bloodthirsty slaving cannibals makes them very unappealing, as conventionally attractive as they might be.

>boisterous
>Noisy, energetic, and cheerful; usually with rough or coarse overtones
This is extremely far from the giants. Part of their thing is that they are incredibly cultured, jaded, and went through it to the other end to desperately debauched. This is Skulls And Bones pig-fucking debauchery, desperately doing drugs because everything is ash, not frat-bro debauchery, which fits boisterous.

I mean, if you want to play them as a sort of Jersey-shore-cannibal-giant-edition, go for it. But that's not the lore.

you are incorrectly assuming that the standards of other nations means that the Giants would hold the same standards as them. I'm pretty the Rephaites consider themselves beautiful by the standards of their avvim and Nephil pedigree. Remember it's how they see themselves, not as how others see them. Just because they were bloody debauched giants doesn't mean I have to tell everyone I'm going to eat them. reminder too my prophet is a Avvim and not a Rephaites, so the message is gonna be dressed up.

Also you are assuming Boisterous in a modern fratboy tone. It can also simply mean to be loud and overly Proud and rowdy. If you wanna nitpick proper word usage though then we are wasting our time here.

Honestly, I've had that experience with Amerindians myself, but some of their mythology still makes for good storytelling when you read about it. It really depends on who you talk to or what you read.

In combat, you can't use more than X gems to cast a given spell where X is the caster's level in that path (eg - a D4 caster cannot use 5 D gems to reduce the fatigue cost of darkness)

Amerindian mythology has diversity
Different tribes with different beliefs warred with each other
Aboriginal mythology shares the rainbow snake among the majority of tribes and then has a bunch of "cautionary tales" that are really just 20 minutes of bullshit before "and god/magic/nature punished him for foolishness; thats why the bullshit bird sounds like chainsaws on chalkboards"

That's true of most mythology, isn't it?

>care enough about your body to take hormones and get surgery

I never got this

>That's true of most mythology isn't it
see I'm not really being clear enough here
the structure of [literally anything happens], [god punishes for foolishness] [thats why X sounds like X/does X] is true of EVERY STORY and all of them are told in the worst voice possible
>>
>>165411756
>>165410660
That's not really accurate at all, though. I can see why you'd think that if in grade school you got some unemployed aboriginal giving you australian aesop's greatest hits, but there is a lot more to the mythology than cautionary tails and dreamsnek.

How? Isn't the point of oral tradition that you can tell the story however you want so long as you're familiar with the central plot points? (inb4 muh Greek epics)

You know what would make a good summon for Abysia? The first Abysians, the dudes who were just huge vaguely human shaped piles of magma.
>>
>>165409957
I don't know if this is true for abos, but the reason Amerindians suck at storytelling is because the stories aren't meant to be told. They're supposed to be portrayed with dancers and drums and elaborate costumes. So to the indians, telling it as a story isn't a big dramatic storytelling, it's just briefly describing something that's basic common knowledge, for the benefit of inquisitive white folk.
>>
>>165419535
you mean magma children?

I gave him an extension until I wake up again. If the turn still isn't done by that point I'll try to contact the player some more (as I actually have his contact info), and will move to phase C if that doesn't work.

Any point on using Dowsing Rod on someone with 6 blood?

Am I gonna get back those 16 blood slaves I would have gotten if I didn't waste my turn crafting that as the sole blood hunter?
>>
>>165428810
Not worth it for him to make one, no, but he also shouldn't be your only blood hunter.
>>
>>165428810
It'll pay for itself directly, but as >>165428926 says, he shouldn't be your only blood hunter and odds are you'll have another blood guy whose turns are much less valuable
>>
>>165428926

>>
>>165430474
Lords, counts, same shit, you got the point anon.

All vampires should be counts anyway.
>>
>>165430796
I legit thought you were Ulm because of the counts thing.

Vamp lords are still better, though. It's only a bit better than empowerment + dowsing rod and probably less efficient for strictly blood hunting (55 slaves v 88 slaves) but vamp lords are good immortal mages too, so you can swap them from hunting to helping you win fights as needed
