That was surprisingly underwhelming. And was it just me or did the art look REALLY bad? Like inconsistently bad. Some panels looked great, but a majority of it looked like a fanartist trying to copy Makani's style.

And someone please explain whatever Medic did in Hell and how he's able to surgically implant souls. I'm imaging what the writing was trying to get across was that he's bargaining his teammates' souls away but it wasn't very clear like that.

I'm glad that Sniper got to do fucking nothing and have the spotlight stolen from him by Medic again, despite his monologue in issue 5 clearly foreshadowing that he was going to pull off some badass stunt.

Literally all he does in this issue is rescue Spy, who then didn't do anything important. It's not like either of them helped Scout come back to life.

His whole resurrection scene from the previous issue doesn't even matter anymore when basically EVERYONE got resurrected.

Even fucking Pyro got a relevant part.

Sniper fans are truly suffering. I don't know why I bother.

Okay so with the Medic soul stealing situation: we've got three possibilities, as far as I can tell:

1: Sniper and Scout just had some sort of delusion when they were dying, and weren't actually in Heaven. They won't get an afterlife, nor will the other mercs.

2: Medic thinks he stole their souls, but didn't, leaving each merc with one soul and one afterlife. Sniper and Scout have spots in Heaven, Medic essentially got a fifty year delay on going to Hell (and a pen) for nothing, and the other mercs afterlives are up in the air.

3: Medic did steal everyone's souls, leaving him with nine, but the other mercs somehow "regrew" them. (Considering Medic surgically added them to himself, in this possibility a soul might actually be a physical organ of some sort.) This absolved them of their sins up to that point, making them relatively pure, and everyone but Medic is very likely going to Heaven when they die for keeps.

In a series with Christopher the Communist Mountain and the Apple Store blowing up the moon, even I thought that was a little too nonsensical.

Maybe badly written would be a better way to describe it. The fact that we're even arguing over what the fuck was even meant by the souls shows how hard they dropped the ball with the joke.

I like playing Spy because it's one of the most unique things about TF2. You're not just a soldier boy with a big AK going around shooting other dudes, you play as a stealth assassin tricking other people into thinking you're allies and then literally stabbing them in the back to 1HK. And it's an actual CHALLENGE. Playing against a good one just means keep an eye out, fighting a caught spy is just like any other fight.

Play Sniper is 2hard4me so I don't do it often. Playing against a good one isn't that frustrating for me, positioning is key.

Fuck pyro though. Every time I die to a pyro, I get angry. There is NO skill needed to just plast M1 in the general direction of an enemy and kill them.
