Just an example: HoN has about 10k players TOTAL at 3 am middle european time. Most of those are not even european at this time and still a game is found in under 5 minutes. Meanwhile in dota it takes 5 minutes in peak times.

Talents are an overall buff to him.
Dragon Lance is absolute cancer on him.
Poison Attack isn't a UAM anymore - Maelstrom, Skadi are possible and I believe Mask of Madness is actually super good on Viper because of how strong Nethertoxin is. He also naturally fucks up enemy carries because he has 65 attack speed slow just from abilities and 40/60/80 from his ultimate besides movement speed slows.

because the ti6 compendium shat on performance. Shit stole around 20 frames from my old PC which was an i5 3570k +670. Only thing that saved the game was that they finished Vulkan implementation a week later, so people took that as a performance patch even though valve didn't even really try.
Game is still fucked if you turn off Vulkan. Huge performance dip happened again with 7.00, but this time there's no new API to switch to since Vulkan is pretty much the most cutting edge and efficient API out there right now.

Valve either wises up and returns some of their real programmers onto Dota 2 to fix this mess or else this game is done for.
